Those are UE4 mock-ups of scenes from the second game for the KS, and not close to as well directed. They've already changed the images on the KS page to art from the original games.
Got some great people back to work on this one.

Edit: I actually think that a (spiritual) sequel to Outrun might do well on Kickstarter. I certainly would back it.

The game's gender politics are questionable to say the least. One female character, equipped with a seductive persona and a heaving bosom that never strays too far from the camera's eye, proves to be a particularly demeaning presence to women everywhere.
Everything else is excellent.

I think I'm going to go ahead and back even tho I'm really worried how the final game is going to turn out. But ultimately I know I'm going to hunt down a Dreamcast and a copy of Shenmue 1 which is gonna cost a good $100, and I'm trying to hunt down a copy of Shenmue 2 on Xbox but it seems to be going for around $60... if I'm going to do all that I might as well back this.

I mean, acting weird would be kind of ok in this context. I just hope they have fixed their audio/video issues. The flickering in the first stream was seriously annoying.

Honestly, if there's no weirdness, I'll be pretty disappointed. I went from horrified of red shirt guy to thinking he was pretty amusing once 30 on the 3rd happened.

Not gonna lie, I was young so I spammed a bunch of moves whenever I could.
This impresses me now. Especially with the fighting game system being attached to an open, interactive world like this. Usually you get one or the other.
