:lol
horrible
The game is actually looking worse

It really does seem to be looking worse... :/

I hope the strategy and gameplay are fantastic.

I think the graphics look pretty decent, actually. It's the animation that sucked balls. If they fixed that, though, I might buy.

Left is a month-old from IGN, right is the one from Jeux France. Yes, it's looking "worse."

If today is opposite day.

It's looking worse than some older screens I saw. The only difference with the IGN shot is the color. Resize that summabitch and itll look the same.

Not really. Look at the more detailed textures and shading on the horseman in front, for one. :p

That ground texture looks distinctly more pixelated in the new pic, versus the blown up old pic. But yeah, in general, it's actually looking better, not worse. My memory seems to be off. :/

Graphics aren't too hot, decent at best, but it's an RTS. Amazing graphics aren't exactly important for this type of game. Just look at Advance Wars DS and how well received it has been with critics and fans alike, and unlike this game, Nintendo didn't even make any effort with AW: DS' graphics.

This.. looks pretty bad.

If you're going to do 3d on the DS, do not do it with the intention of being technically impressive. The only good 3d on the DS is good because it is artistically impressive, imo.

You obviously suck at having eyes.

Not that this looks very good at all.

But you're still wrong.

I was interested in this game.

Then I watched the trailer. :lol
Honestly, I love RTSes, but it seems like a rather poor attempt.

I'm not counting it out though. They've had plenty of time to work on it since then.

why do people bother with realistic-style graphics on the DS when we all know that we are fine with cute/super-deformed/sprites/nintendog's grafex!!!!

I don't know man. Like why did they even make a Splinter Cell for DS?

Amen, brother.

These graphics are painful. Seriously, it took me a bit to figure out the bow and arrow pics on horseback we are all looking at. I thought the bow was a circle around the base of the horse, and the arm was horse armor. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why there was a spear coming out of the horse's head. :P

Note to 3rd party publishers: Stick to 2D games on the DS.

I was going to agree but i've played Mario on nDS and it looks pretty good in a handheld N64 kind of way. Much better then these screen shots.

Hard for me to judge but 3-D on the DS has worked well form the 3D games i've seen.

RTS games aren't really about eye candy, but a well designed 3-D RTS game should have smooth framerates and use the 3-D to enhance gameplay, as in real-time panning and zooming of the battlefield to help the player make better strategic decisions.

Those kind of games are completely doable with the DS's 3D capabilities.
