I have to meet the Director later this week because he wants to talk to me about his next "Independent Film" project

For someone just starting out how is this film?

"Racket" is a powerful short film that tells the story of Jesse Cruz, a tough Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx who dreams of becoming a professional tennis player. One day after Jesse meets Nikolai Nikoff, a Bulgarian mobster (Racketeer) from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, not only does Jesse get some very 'unique' tennis lessons but also a new-found friendship and a shot at the US Open!. (It's kinda like - The Professional meets Wimbledon)

I think he wants some paintings for props.

I've been burned too many times with my Art so I had to check his work
Maybe it will be no harm to let him use the Art even for a bad movie.

I'm not sure if this project is a short film or not.

quick review: the movie had some nice comedic parts. Overall i felt the movie was fell filmed, very well filmed, but the story just didn't flow well, and it seemed like a lot of parts were missing. The beginning with all the credits was stretched and kinda long and unnecesary scenes. Scenes that don't really belong in a short movie since it's supposed to get to the point. In the end the girl talks about how Nikoli taught her this and that, but you never see how he taught her these lessons of life. Throughout the whole movie he's just pushing people around.

Mike did not even send me to find his film, I just googled his name from the email and found sites relating to his work.

I don't see why yousendit or hosting would harm him since its only online for exposure
if you need permission email him there is an email on that page

Okay

I got to meet him and his girlfriend (wife?) today who is a writer and actress.
The new project is a going to be his first feature length film

I got to see "Racket" (linked above) and a trailer for his new project.
I can't hate on "Racket" short stories don't always work when you have a lot to say.
I like the music but felt it was to short to get everything that was needed in there.
I really liked where it was headed.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with for a feature length film.

I enjoy meeting other creative people and they both seem like sharp people
I am still trying to make it myself as a painter so I can understand this guy trying to make doing what he loves doing "Story Telling"

I made some cool new friends today. So I will support them with what they asked.
