I'm in the US. I wouldn't say I'm proud of it because I think pride in something you have no control over is dumb. But it would be nice if that info were displayed here. It would help give me better context when talking with people. Like most Americans, if someone types good English, I default assume they're from the US/Canada. When I see someone say "Well here in _othercountry_..." I always feel guilty for being an uncultured swine.
