Ok, so my parents came into the city to visit (yay free lunch!) as they do every couple weeks, and my mother, in addition to some groceries that are cheaper out in the suburbs, gave me this Hickory Farms sausage gift pack. Apparently, my sister had kept it in her car as an emergency ration, just in case she crashed off into the deep woods or something like those people you see on the news sometimes. I guess she didn't want it any more. However, after they left, I was looking at the box, and noticed that the "Best if used by:" date was March 2004. Do you think it's still safe to eat it?

Included inside is a big stick of sausage, crackers, mustard, and some spreadable stuff.

Well, do you want to die or do you want to live. I guess if you'd rather die there's no harm in eating it?

Feed a piece to a dog. If the dog doesn't explode from botulism, eat it yourself.

Tape a piece of it to the inside of the tailpipe of the vehicle your mortal enemy. Then dogs will chase after his car all the time from the scent and try to eat it. If they don't explode from botulism, eat it yourself. And laugh at your enemy's predicament.

Figure out the schedule of your local high schools drug-searching times and hide a piece of it in a locker. Break into the K9 Police station and switch the highly trained dog with a sorta trained dog that looks the same. The dog will be sent to the school and instead of just searching and pointing out the drugs, it will go for the meat and eat it. If in the next day's paper you don't see a story about K9 units exploding from botulism, eat it yourself and sell drugs on school grounds because they no longer have an effective K9 unit.
