If you didn't had diarrhea by watching more than the first season of the first main serial, i think you are okay with watching everything walking deas related.
It's a shame how much the show went downhill. I watched until Andrew Lincoln left, but I wasn't really enjoying it as much by that point. That was kind of the final straw for me. When the show was consistent, it was fantastic. For the most part I don't regret watching it, but wish I'd stopped sooner when it was good.
I tried watching Fear the Walking Dead and didn't really enjoy it. I can't imagine I'd enjoy World Beyond either, it seems to be getting even worse reviews.
The only reason I really stuck with it so long is because I'd invested so much time in to it and some of the characters were familiar.
Amazing how they’ve stretched like four good episodes of TV (not even the full first season was good, it fell apart in the hospital, and the 2nd season was horrendous in every way) into like 10 seasons and multiple spin-offs.

That was the big problem with The Walking Dead in general. They had far too many filler episodes or episodes where it felt more like a soap opera than a zombie apocalypse. If they just condensed that, had less episodes and had a quicker pace, I would have preferred it. I feel they wasted time building up some characters that either didn't last long or weren't very likeable to begin with.
I know it's a forum and all but god damn, can anyone answer the OPs question instead of chiming in with years old twd sucks posts? I am curious to see if the spinoff is worth watching or not too ffs.
