Should I trade in SF:AC PS2 for Xbox?

I came into the PS2 version very cheaply and I am wondering if I should upgrade for the Xbox version. Live is a factor ONLY if the Xbox version is identical to the PS2 version.

Some assistance please?

From what I know the games are identical except for the inclusion of Live play on the Xbox. So if you have Live, and want to play SFAC online, then there's really no other option.

I would wait until the resident SF3 nuts obsess over the minute differences between both and see if those matter to you.

If you are a stick player, I'd keep both so that you could still play it if at some point you were without an Xbox stick. I mean, both versions together only come out to $10 over most new games.

If you are not a stick player then you can rot in hell.

ASM, Reno, I'm calling you out!!

FYI control won't be a factor as I plan to at least get 6 button pad or stick.

I'll take a six-button Saturn style pad over an arcade stick any day. :P

I don't know, I'm really really picky about arcade sticks. Some I feel are just so bad that I'd be better off with a pad. A good d-pad has never failed me.

ASM, how much did your Capcom stick mod cost in time and money? I may need to do something similar. But I still don't trust my ability.

If you had to buy everything, including tools, I'd say a bit over $100. Follow the guide (except for the bolt removal part, rite you buncha fuckers?) and you could easily do it in an afternoon.

I made the guide for people who had never done a mod before. You'll gain confidence in your ability in doing it.

I forgot to mention the part where I really don't have any type of competition in the area.

I mean...why play a good game like Street Fighter III when there's DoA3?

I need to find some new friends.

Same here. My friends don't believe in 2D fighters. One had the audacity to say MvC2 is a game where "anyone can win by just pressing the buttons" while saying he loves DOA3!
