In browsing through the Apple homescreen discussion thread it was getting a bit cluttered with everyone wanting to show off their homescreen and give tips/tricks for customizing by platform. Lock this if it exists already.

Let's use this thread to show off your mobile (iPad, iPhone, Android, Win Phone 7, Android Tablet, Blackberry (lol), Vita, Surface, etc.) homescreen and share customization you've done.


If anyone can provide instructions for taking screenshots on your OS I will add to the OP.

I've always wondered why the iOS clock icon doesn't just show the time. The calendar and weather does, so why not the clock?

Anyway, here's mine. Nothing special. The top right of the first image looks a little weird because of the ripple effect when you touch the screen. :

I can read it, works for me. I use the lockscreen clock more anyways.

Actually the weather app does not show the current weather. It's pretty lame (but I guess it would require constant updates). Only the calendar is current.

Second page is a Full screen Google reader scrollable widget. My music players are invoked by holding multitasking button (they are horizontally scrollable along the bottom nav bar).

Hold home for camera and back for phone.

Double tap anywhere and the browser launches

That is all just on an old 3GS. If I had a 4S I could install the OSX theme that mimics a mac pretty well
