The theme song "This is the Way we Live" is kinda hoke, but the series itself is amazingly entertaining. I can't wait until season two's episode next week.


The latest eposide "Lap Dance" has gotten me primed for next week's "Lonliest Number."

I may be straight man, but I find myself identifying with many of these characters. I suppose that ihad I never studied English in college, I'd like the series just the same. The L Word has a polish that will keep me coming back. (Much like Six Feet Under)

I'd like to get all Munian and extend the wonderful experience of the show, but I won't now. It's almost 4am in Texas. I'll just buy season1's DVD, and then coo story elements then.

i didn't see last night's episode (it's recorded), but i've seen all of the first season along with the first episode of the new season. i like the show, but the frequent sex makes the show one-dimensional. i shouldn't have a problem with it, i mean, they're all hot lipstick lezzies, but at any given moment, whenever the two women are together, alone, they're likely to start fucking.

Kit and Ivan though after what happened in the first episode. i'd also like to see how they actually come together, which is pretty inevitable.

That's about the only plot i'm really anticipating at the momeny.

I've been on the show twice, first time was shot in an airport, do you remember any airport s scenes? If it wasn't in the first season, it has to be one of the early second season episodes, as it was shot 7 months ago.

Second time was 3 months ago with some pregnant chick and another one with a british accent in a cafe. That was the time I met the Jackie Brown chick and not recognizing her, asked if she designed the set. Ugh.

But I watched what I think was the series opener a few weeks ago, and it didn't seem half bad.

My memory's foggy, but i'm gonna have to say that was the second season. i don't remember an airport in the first. i'll definitely have to keep an eye out for you though. BTW, which province do you live in? i seem to remember hearing the show was shot in Vancouver for some parts.

i wonder if the guy who was married to the bi-curious girl left the show because of the script. His character was a pussy, and was token as a minority on a predominantly white show.

I started watching it this season after seeing previews of it running during every commercial break during Law and Order on TNT. It's pretty good so far but I know i'm missing alot having not seen the first season yet. I'll probably pick up the DVD's soon. Does anyone know what the best online price is? So far Amazon seems to be it with a 48.99 price and free shipping.

It's really great. It has a lot more insight on relations than the countless superficial "straight" series. I do have a problem though since sometimes it makes me even more furious than I already am with these conservative christian wackos.

Did you ever run into a chick called Crystal Lo on set? She's a model I ran into at the auto show last week, and I guess had a role of some sort on the show (don't know how big). She's also a ring girl in Fight Night 2004. And she's a Vancouver girl...heh, seems that turn has a knack for churning out models. Here's a pic of her (plus a link for the rest of the shots).
