I'm pretty devastated to hear this. I would've loved a proper, first-class port job for these two classics.
And yet, after the utter shit-show that has been the production of this collection and the myriad terrible screenshots leading up to its release, I'm not exactly surprised.

Guys, I will say... don't base your purchasing decision off what I'm experiencing. It could be my system. Could be. But again I've played other games without anything acting up.
PS3 or 360? This sounds terrifying...

Unless the 360 version is better I would not get this at all. The framerate and micro freezes are huge immersion killers.

PS3 or 360? I'm halfway through the apartments on the 360 version and it's running pretty nicely for me. No framerate irregularities at all. Downright pure 60fps. I have experienced the music cutting out during a cutscene but it was pretty quick and popped right back on.
It sounds like they changed the sound the laying figure makes when its crawling on the ground though.
I don't know if enabling original voices put thats right or not as I haven't tested.brandonh83

Just recorded this. Crappy quality, but you can see how he'll run and just randomly stop to a walk, along with general stuttering and framerate fluctuations.
Note that when he will cease running and switch into a walk, I am doing nothing differently control-wise. It's really bad around 55 seconds in.

360 version looks NOTHING like that, dude. It's completely smooth as butter for me!

G-Fex's stream definitely isn't having that problem, brandon. That's pretty much unplayable, in my opinion.

I will say the 360 version is dark as hell though.
Uncharted and most games don't require that you hold a button to run. Is it square in SH2 if I remember correctly? Maybe somethings up with the sensitivity on that button. Try it in another game that requires you to hold it, or try holding it really hard while playing SH2 and see if James' run sticks.
I've actually experienced a lot of this when running around outside.. haven't noticed it too much lately.. but it's definitely not isolated to your system. Im playing on PS3 as well.

OMG. The PS3 version runs like garbage compared to the 360 version. It's not even a contest.

For gods sake, if you can't run properly and Konami have no plans to fix all of the issues with the PS3 version I think I'll just cancel my order.
There is apparently around 5+ members with the same james avatar. I don't want to be the one to change!
