what are you getting at here, please elaborate for us.

Here is the shovel if you need it.

Just tell what you mean.

I will ignore the agressivity of your post, and answer to you as if it wasn't a idiotic troll.

Here, just for you, is the definition of the word "norm" by the Oxford dictionary :

noun

1 (the norm) something that is usual, typical, or standard

Now, take a minute to learn where is Sweden, and then look at its population : its immigration until the early 1970 largely came for the Nordic countries, on the contrary to former colonial countries, like France.
Here, you've got it : the majority of population in Sweden has a white skin. I can't believe I'm explaining this.

The Swedish are so progressive it borders on parody. They show the entire world that they're progressive and open minded by banning or changing anything that might cause a slight offense no matter how insignificant it actually is.
Because pushing back against cultural markers that say only white skin is normal is just an act of insignificant parody?

Your username does aptly describe your cognitive dissonance, I'll give you that.

Well i never thought about it before, here in Mexico many refer to that color as "carne" which means flesh. Never thought of it as racist tbh.

I don't think she was over reacting.

Having beige labelled as skin colour obvious alienates anyone with a darker shade of skin, as it implies that beige (aka white) is the only colour of skin.

The paint company can easily rectify this by naming the paint to 'Normal skin colour'.

Only if they make an array of "abnormal" skin colors for all the other shades "normal" doesn't cover.

"Skin" at best is stupid. Why even switch it? The "flesh" color that is sold, although a lighter shade, doesn't really represent any skin tone and is used more as a starting point for mixing with other colors to create a variety of realistic skin tones, at least in painting.

Funny story: When I was in an art class in college, a professor was teaching us how to mix oil paints. She was mixing a pretty darkish brown color, and said absentmindedly "anyone know what I need to add to this to make a skin tone?"

Black girl in the front of the class says "looks fine to me!" jokingly. Everyone laughs, but the professor kept concentrating and said "no, no... it needs to be a bit lighter."

she has a point , but some people will still complain cuz "political correctness" is supposedly out to get them.
