Man, I saw a trailer for it on TV, and it looks to be the best Disney live-action to come out in some time. I had a few genuine laughs at the jokes, and the hero didn't seem to be all that annoying. But...

I can't wait. And it looks to be a better superhero movie than, say, F4.

Looks pretty cool, but it's a total ripoff of Sidekicks (a comic, not the Jonathan Brandis/ Chuck Norris movie of the same name).

Looks pretty cool, but it's a total ripoff of Sidekicks (a comic, not the Jonathan Brandis/ Chuck Norris movie of the same name).

It's also remarkably similar (i.e. total ripoff) of PS238, right down to the "new kid with no powers" schtick. Of course, the idea of superkids at superschool isn't exactly new - New Mutants, anyone? - but, still, I'd be suprised if Sky High wasn't a direct result of someone reading Sidekicks or PS238. Both comics are, by the way, completely fantastic, though in somewhat different ways; you can read the first issue of Sidekicks and a slew of PS238 stories online.
