I always think that posting news here will result in some old person's picture in my thread, but here we go:

I'm a little disappointed, honestly...Rad Racer was enough to convince me that 3D glasses add nothing to gaming, not with that level of technology. I'm sure improvements have been made since then, but just wearing the glasses in itself is annoying. It could be enjoyable in a cheesy way if used in small doses, I guess.

IGN said:When Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves was announced alongside Jak X: Combat Racing and Ratchet: Deadlocked we figured that this would be another adventure very much in line with last year's Sly 2: Band of Thieves. With just one year of development time there couldn't be any big, big news, right? Well, this turned out not to be the case because the Sucker Punch development team is bringing us Sly in three dimensions this time. So get your red and blue glasses ready and watch this platformer acquire an all-new sense of depth.
The immediate effect of a game in 3D is obvious. It looks cool to see a game pop off the screen and with the style of the Sly Cooper games already being cartoonish, this is an easy fit. But it also won't be something that will overwhelm the game either. Sly 3 will feature specific missions that are designed for the 3D glasses that will come with the game. These glasses will help players get a cool view as Sly navigates through invisible lasers, decrypts puzzles, and uses his power-ups. As the game gets closer to completion, more missions and mini-games will have the 3D option designed for them.
Instead of just a little gimmick of seeing a game in three dimensions with lots of pieces flying towards the viewer, this feature will help players out as well. Dodging lasers will be easier with some depth perception. For the collectors out there, there will be some objects that can only be attained in the 3D mode. Of course, there will also be levels that will be designed with 3D in mind just to provide a fun and unique experience.
