This film has serious potential...because it's called Snakes on a Plane. My brother is incredibly hyped and plans to make T-Shirts; and he's quite right to point out that it's a film you either love or hate. You know exactly what you're getting: Snakes on a plane. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, stay away.

IMDB says the release date for this is August 18, 2006. The hype train will be up to full steam by then.

The thing is--there's no way that the film can possibly be as entertaining as the title. The movie's probably going to clock in at 80 minutes and be pretty dull. I don't see how you can make an entire feature film that's just about snakes on a plane.

That said, the trailer for this has the potential to be one of the best trailers in the history of cinema. I expect either the words SNAKES ON THE PLANE flying toward the screen in brushed metallic block letters, or a whole mess of computer-generated snakes that slither around on the screen to spell out the movie's title.

And thank god for that. If they kept the "Flight 121" name I would've skipped it but now that it's back to "Snakes on a Plane" I have to go. Snakes on a plane for Christ's sake!
