Top Gear is split screen... It's a real skill being able to look in your opponent's screen, drive well, and block him/her from passing you

I always enjoyed Donkey Kong Country's 2-player mode. While only one player is active at a time, the ability to "hot swap" back and forth is great... and you'll lose apes/chimps often enough that both players get a lot of game time.
