Honestly as a once heavy smoker that went from 4-5 months for an oz to often 1-2 weeks for the same amount at my worst the first 2 days are grueling, the 3rd day your brain and body start readjusting so long as he stays away for 6 months he'll be good, but the year mark is when you truly never miss that shit again

I smoked every day for 18 years and I still miss it
