i did this two years ago, and i was never more proud of a costume until about 90000 people thought i was chef boyardee and only about 5 knew i was swedish chef.

Its an damn awesome costume though.

This year im going as a contestant from Legends of the Hidden Temple

I'm all for people dressing up and going to a party or whatever, but I have friends who genuinely still want to go out trick or treating. We're 21 years old, people. The first time I heard that from them 3 years ago I lost a lot of respect for them.

Last time I went was when I was 12, but when I came to college all kinds of people were seriously going out and doing it. Fucking embarrassing.
 
construction worker - hardhat, neon green shirt, jeans, work boots, toolbelt filled with condoms (optional) or i'll wear a neon vest with no shirt underneath, assuming i have the physique to do that lol

I've seen the trilogy but i don't remember the scene... Actually, i don't remember them very well at all.
 
A suit and a luchador mask.

Last year it was a cowboy outfit and a luchador mask, the year prior a green shirt that said "I'm a monster"... and a luchador mask.
I have sort of a theme.
 
I was considering going as a plague doctor; however, firstly I'm too poor and secondly (I believe I've mentioned this here before) I don't want to go to the Halloween party and watch my best friend make out with some guy because she's drunk. Which is why these threads depress me.

So, I'll most likely stay at home and watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and some horror movies.
 
I want to be Waldo, but I don't want to pay 40 fucking dollars for a beanie and a shirt.

If I could find the shirt elsewhere, I could just buy the beanie for 8 dollars.

Anyone know where I can find such a shirt? I have had trouble finding it in stores.

as a last resort, you can make one yourself with a white tshirt and red duct tape.

Bit at a loss this year. Last year my ex and I dressed up as the Keymaster (me as Rick Moranis in his electrode helmet) and the Gatekeeper (my boy as Dana complete with a curly wig and red dress that unfortunately looked closer to a slutty Orphan Annie than Zuul) (^_^), but I have no partner in crime this Halloween. Could go as Chell from Portal 2...or I could just watch scary movies and drink pumpkin beer. *sigh*
 
I originally wanted to get one of the traditional Mexican dresses and make dessert tortillas at the party I'm going to but I lost track of time. :\

So instead, because it's at a house with a pool, I'm going to wear one of those old time-y bathing suits from back in the 20's. Gives me a good excuse to run around barefoot.

Oooo... I'm digging the outfit. Be fun to wear that in normal life, too (minus the cheesecloth, of course). Have a feeling you're going to get a lot of people thinking you're Rorschach, though, even without the mask markings.
 
I'm going as a poor man's Dexter. I don't live in the US so I couldn't "just" order all the right gear on Amazon. Bought some clothes that resemble his outfit somewhat (which more importantly, I can also use in daily life).
Still need to buy a pair of leather gloves, a fake knife/butcher's knife, create some fake blood and find some suitable shoes(not going to buy that shit, budget constraints).
