$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated

I'm sorry, but I look at The Thing here and instantly think 'Fecal Matter Man'.

'Fantastic Four: Stand at an exact distance from one another and fill the frame. ASSEMBLE!'

Now my memory of the comics is spotty, but I believe this is 'Frustrated Constipation Woman'.

And here's Jessica Alba, looking calmly at some poor CG as the gentleman behind her takes a discrete photo of her ass to be later posted on GAF.

Hah, at least the promotional stuff emphasizes what will likely be the movie's only redeeming quality...

The Thing is soooo bad... his eye-brows need to be huge... I am not a fan of Fantastic Four, but when I look at these characters... I do not see the Fantastic Four...

Her proportions look a bit strange in that poster and if I didn't know better I wouldn't be able to tell who was Mr. Fantastic... (based on age)

Still got the animated feces look going on.

OHHHHHhhhhhhhh Reed Richards is elastic!

Sue can hide from sight!

Johhny is the Human Torch!

The Thing just loves to fight!

All for Four!

Fantastic Four!

That and the old hanna barbera cartoon used to kick some serious ass. Iron Man, too.

I don't care how bad this movie is. It has Jessica Alba in a skintight suit, that's reason enough for me to see it.

It has Mike Works in normal clothes, that's reason enough for all of you to see it god damnit

I'm in a bar scene, I'm in the dirtbike scene (though that's in a crowd of people in the far off background, so there's little chance of seeing me), and that scene with the carball.

Mystery solved.

I have no problemes with "The Things" appearance. It's pretty spot on to his early FF appearance.

The brow ridge came along over time. As for his height.. it's right. He's not supposed to be 7 feet tall. Just a dense, thick guy with a rocky exterior. Heoight 6-2, weight 700lbs.

From what it looks like is the ridge becomes more pronounced as the movie goes on anyway.

I do have one concern. That being, Things costume looking like rubber when it moves rather than several rocks shifting as he moves...

i'm not too keen ont he major changes they've done with Doom though... no armor?

His skin peels off and the metal is underneath.. ok. Nice to see they decided the Ultimate FF was better inspiration than the classic continuity. I will give it a chance though. I'll be there opening weekend with low expectations and hope it wows me.

Did they film that at GM Place?

Richards and invisible woman look way too young.

Once again... this is based more on the ultimate FF... in which everyone is just out of their teens, maybe early 20's.

They mixed in the classic origin in there as well with the cosmic rays from the space flight.

Ah ok that explains the age issue and why it sucks.... ;)

Ummm WHAT?!?!?!? Well that's... different. No way I'm going to see this... it disrespects one of my favorite bad guys(Dr. Doom) way too much.

Pretty much. I dropped Ultimate FF after about 10 issues after the cluster fck they made of Doom.

It also took Bendis 8 issues to tell the origin that took ONE in the 60's.

You went longer than me, I dropped an issue or two after they flipped the switch on Reed's experiment.

So, is the Carball the result of The Thing punching a car, or is the Thing going to punch the Carball that has been thrown at him by an off screen baddy?

The Thing looks like a fat guy, i thought the Hulk looked pretty convincing in the last movie and he has about the same build so what where they thinking.

to this day batman beyond has had the best version of fantastic four ever.

The Terrific Trio. Yeah, I dug them, but they still don't compare to the hanna barbera ones.

Nope, BC Place.

No, he picks up the perfectly fine car (I think it was a porsche), crumples it into a ball himself, and then throws it at Jonny Storm.

Which was pretty funny, because during the post-crumple scene, they drop the car ball off a forklift and let it roll about 15 feet past the actors. The second time they tried it, it got too much velocity and fucking slammed into the cameraman (who was on a camera tower) really hard.

God, I love how they've manipulated the poster to make Thing look a lot larger than he is in the movie. The poster makes him look several inches taller than Mr Fantastic, but in that city shot of all four, he's clearly SHORTER. What bullshit.

Hmm, not that I don't believe you, but that pic doesn't make much sense then.

I was adamantly opposed to watching this until I recalled that this begs to be seen at the Alamo Drafthouse with a few pitchers of beer. Sign me up 4 real...and you're gonna have to tell us what scene and where you'll be, Mike, at least if you expect any of us to spot ya, especially the non-sober types.

There's like 15 different product placements in that one shot alone.

*gasp* Invisible Kool Aid?! Wha...!?!

See-through image is new for Kool-Aid

It's clearly Kool-Aid, but it'll leave you guessing.

Kool-Aid Invisible has been introduced by Kraft Foods. It's a transparent version of the popular powdered soft drink, which for years has left a colorful smile on drinkers' faces. The clear flavors start as a white powder out of the packet and mix up into see-through drinks.

There are two flavors, Raspberry and Watermelon Kiwi. They are sold unsweetened for a suggested retail price of 25 cents a packet.

Hot damn! That's going to be fun in my Mr.KoolAid pitcher. My roomies won't have any idea what flavor it is.

(Mr.KoolAid pitcher is plastic and I've had it since elementary school :( I cant find a glass one like those ultra cool moms on t.v.)

Oh yea, and everyone is looking the wrong way in that picture anyhow.

Commenting on incest? Well, he's suppose to look a bit older. George Cloony didn't really need the money/humility.
