Sonic 3 & Knuckles with this fan engine / enhancements might be nice.
Rub against a "past" or "future" signpost in the level then maintain 88 mph for a short time to be transported to that time period.
No OT for this being put together at the last minute? Seems like a fair few are getting it, so would be worth it.
No OT (yet? Is anyone making one?) considering the release date was just announced today! :lolYeah is there an OT thread that I can't find, or is this thread pretty much it?
Anyways Sonic CD at 60fps, will be the best Sonic CD. The slowdown on the Sega CD version really annoyed me when I recently replayed it.

I can whip one up tomorrow morning if no one else is working on it right now.
I love the Cyberpunk art design in this game. It always frustrated me that no other game in the series was consistent with the art style.

I like this oneSonic CD (Retro Engine) |OT| Taxman did the CD without a C&D

It's free?EDIT: Whoa anyone see the free EU Stardust Speedway PSN theme?
Yes please. A rerelease of this quality deserves one. Kinda a personal request, but could you put together a decent Sonic CD banner too?

Anyone have the file for it?
Yes! Looks like I'll be getting this on XBLA, iOS, Android and maybe PC. Damn, at that price, how could you not double/triple/quadruple dip? Man, if Taxman and Sega remade Sonic 3 & Knuckles using the Retro Engine....Sonic CD (Retro Engine) |OT| Taxman did the CD without a C&D
It ain't just in EU. I got the theme too.
buy both because THEY'RE FIVE U.S. DOLLARSOh snap.
EDIT: Unlike Generations, I really cant see a benefit to snagging the PC version over 360/PS3...unless someone would like to enlighten me.
You're such a meanie for not telling me. *pouts*It ain't just in EU. I got the theme too.
http://toucharcade.com/2009/07/28/sonic-cd/ok so what the hell is a Retro Engine
I love these two. Very clever.
So this isn't actually up yet is it? And is that ps3 theme dynamic?
Sonic CD's redeeming qualities include its music (Japan/PAL...US version is bitchmade) and the fact that it's 2D. The vertical-ish level design is horrid and makes me think the devs just randomly placed pre-assembled pieces until they kinda/ sorta had something that was "playable". There's no logic to it.
Sonic CD lOTl Where We're Going, We Don't Need Backbone
Sonic CD is fun but really short (20-30 minutes)
I still got GEMS they should of port that with the other 2 games Sonic CD is fun but really short (20-30 minutes)
you mean you have stages in which you actually have to routinely stop and platform? oh the humanity.

For years I was told how brilliant this game was...and then I played it myself. The praise it gets is unwarranted. It's by no means terrible, but it ain't amazing. It' alright.

We'll use that when Sonic Chaos's remake comes out.Sonic CD |OT| Sonic & Tails' Excellent Adventure
This is what I get for spending my time studying instead of playing my PS3. :/...I forgot the blog existed. I found it while rummaging through the store.![]()
ok so what the hell is a Retro Engine
I vote for this one, Backbone's emulation work was easily the lowlight of Generations. It's amazing all these years later they still can't get Sonic 1 right.Sonic CD (Retro Engine) lOTl Where We're Going, We Don't Need Backbone
