Hopefully it'll be running at a higher framerate, too. I have it for the Saturn and it's basically unplayable.Ninja Scooter said:Sonic R seems to be running in some sort of higher resolution rather than just being a straight port.

Oh god, sold.
I have always said this, and have yet to find anyone that disagrees with me.Lindsay said:+1000000 points to Traveler's Tales btw. I always said Sonic R aged gracefully and the proof is here.

If it's not a straight port/emulation, the chances of seeing the other Saturn games people creamed themselves over (NiGHTS, Burning Rangers) seem very low.Ninja Scooter said:Sonic R seems to be running in some sort of higher resolution rather than just being a straight port.

Prove me wrong, Sega! PROVE ME WRONG!
That's lame. The story is still the same for me. It's dumb for this to not be released for all consoles. These games were on Sega add-on's that didn't sell that great, so a LOT of people never got the chance to play them. Releasing this to the largest userbase possible allows gamers to finally do so AND allows Sega to make more money. I never understood why these kinds of games can be exclusives sometimes. From a marketing perspective it makes no sense to me.AniHawk said:Just GC so far.
GOD DAMN. Finally all the Sonics I've wanted to play, but couldn't.

I love Sonic but can't stand the interlacing problems of the GC. If there are new Sonic R stages though, I just might have to pick it up...

So it is a remake then?
Jonnyram said:Hmm, this seems to be coming out for the PS2 too in Japan, at the same time as the GC version (August).

The 6 GG titles aren't secret. They're pretty useless on the GC anyhow, since ALL of them were avaliable on Sonic Adventure DX. The 6 here are the 6 missing from SMC+.
