Sony Pictures VR, GhostCorps and nDreams are announcing Ghostbusters VR 2 today, exclusively for Quest 2.

Strap on your proton pack and Meta Quest 2 and step into the world of Ghostbusters in immersive virtual reality. Start your Ghostbusters HQ in a new city, San Francisco, and solve a deep mystery across a new chapter in the Ghostbusters universe.

Track, blast, and trap ghosts in gripping encounters by wielding iconic equipment. Go it alone, or as a team with up to three friends in co-op, in an extensive and engrossing campaign. Continue the Ghostbusters' legacy, protect the city from fiendish ghosts, and experience all the humor and frights from the beloved franchise.

That does...not look like ghostbusters. The fuck is that one guy wearing on his head? And a pink haired girl in a what, lime green jumpsuit? GTFOutta here with that shit.

I know this has happened in the past, especially with the Ghostbusters license, but why does Sony Pictures make exclusive deals with rival companies when they have their own VR headset. It would make sense to have it exclusive with Sony Computer Entertainment instead of Meta.

As I said before, Without the ghostbusters cast, it's not a ghostbusters game.

Is it very difficult to put the original cast in a videogame?

Inconsistencies of Jim ryan?

Because the other "Ghostbusters" game did so well 🙄

When wil these morons learn.

Do you think people wanted a cameo from any of the female ghostbusters cast in the newest movie, lol hell no.

I know it's Sony Pictures but it's still weird to see a Sony game on Quest 2. Are they just going after the biggest platform here?

Looks like a multiplayer type thing, I'm guessing that's why the person had an animal thing on their head (customization, etc). Art style looks similar to Fort Nite and me being an aging curmudgeon, that shit don't fly with me.

Looks like it could be fun but would probably skip it even if it was on PSVR2. Weird that it's Sony but exclusive to Quest 2.

Mildly interested if it's like the David Crane's Ghostbusters: The Computer game - where you basically run a Ghostbusters franchise location. That was always a pretty solid framework to build around.

Not so interested if it's L4D style where you play through 4 campaigns consisting of 3 missions each that always plays out the same way with some quirky wacky heroes.
