One of the few companies that saw the potential of the Chinese market ahead of the curve.Despite of many Sony's stupid decision, the Hero project is a big win and one of the best project of Sony ps. Hero project is growing is about to bear fruit for Sony PS.
the Hero project is a big win
This effort predated Hulst and is far more likely to be the baby of the most senior leadership in the company.Hermen Hulst proving to be pretty fucking based once again.
China Hero Project did, but NOT PlayStation Studios producing CHP games, which first started over 2 years after Hermen Hulst became the head of WWS.This effort predated Hulst and is far more likely to be the baby of the most senior leadership in the company.
It's major investment that well above Hulst's pay grade.
As long as you're fair about this and not the type who gives zero credit to Hulst whenever Playstation does something good but then give all credit to Hulst when Playstation does something bad. This effort predated Hulst and is far more likely to be the baby of the most senior leadership in the company.
It's major investment that well above Hulst's pay grade.
You're thinking of "Where Winds Meet" which was announced and shown around the same time as Wuchang. Wuchang got the public attention over WWM. Here's phase 3:Is wuchang a part of this as well?

I could be wrong, but I think top middle is Wuthering Waves. Bottom right is too difficult for me to tell.Any idea what the game is in the middle of the top row, and the game in the bottom right hand corner? Thanks!
I don't think so.Is wuchang a part of this as well?

... I thought it was a joke. Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero.I could be wrong, but I think top middle is Wuthering Waves. Bottom right is too difficult for me to tell.

I thought it was a joke because both happened to be from Mihoyo.Okay. Now I see the ZZZ logo. The image quality sucks, I've played Zenless since launch and I can barely make out the characters in the image, so no, it's not a joke.
I dropped Genshin after 2-3 months, so I wouldn't necessarily remember the character designs that well.
Also, why are these all part of "Phase 3"? Genshin launched before anyone had even heard of Star Rail or Zenless.
I thought it was a joke because both happened to be from Mihoyo.
The pic isn't exactly about Phase 3 of CHP, but rather about Chinese development support on PS.
Bottom right is Zenless Zone Zero.
Apologies.... I thought it was a joke. Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero.
Apologies.
Also, did ZZZ have a desert/dunes update or something? Or is that a character's dune-colored cape that's flowing to the right in that image?
More like third-party support of Chinese developers in general.Oh, as in "continued" support since gacha games constantly get updated.
- Awaken: Astral Blade
- Exiledge
- Daba: Land of Water Scar
- Kroraina (Loulan)
- Project: Jinyiwei
- The God Slayer
- The Winds Rising
- Unending Dawn
- Will-less
As shown above, it was from the 1.2 update last year.Apologies.

Japan doesn't need a Hero Project.Great.
Now do Japan.
It needs Sony 1st party game investment.More like third-party support of Chinese developers in general.
Phase 3 of China Hero Project included:

Japan doesn't need a Hero Project.
It already has that.It needs Sony 1st party game investment.

Damn, I see a lot of the big gachas on there (Infinity Nikki, Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy, Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero). I wonder if they'll offer the same support to other big upcoming CN gachas like Arknights Enfield, NTE and Azur Promilia (all of these are confirmed to receive a PS5 release). You're thinking of "Where Winds Meet" which was announced and shown around the same time as Wuchang.
