Lord Error

Insane For Sony
Probably in no way, much like Spider-Man / Spider-Man 2 game has been released on every platform under the sun. As crazy as it sounds, Sony Pictures would probably just laugh if Kutaragi was to ask them to make their licensed games exclusive to Sony console platform(s).

Damn, while I want Blu-Ray to become the next disk format, I do not want Sony to own MGM. I can not stand the way they release movies. MGM was bad enough with the Bond movies, but I don't want to imagine what the Sony releases will be like. The bare bones edition, six months later the Superbit and Special Edition releases, six more months for the Superbit Deluxe, and a year later for a special three disk edition, which is just the special edition with an extra disk taped to the back.

Sony Classics is cool though!

I didn't know MGM was the only one guilty of this practice.

If you go and rush out to buy a new release, you may just be setting yourself up for heartache latter.

The studios know some people will buy a a SE version latter so they do it.

I know, and Sony isn't alone in this practice. They just seem to be one of the worst at it. The real problem is that their special editions are usually pretty good and it would be nice if they would just release them first, or at least be up front if they plan on making one in the future and when it is going to be released.
