Happy to see them finally develop some sense

Who knew Stellar Blade was the catalyst for removing the PS regional block on Steam.
Hopefully it's a catalyst for a lot of future PS decisions. Great port, great performance, optional PSN login, no region lock, attractive characters, great combat, etc.

Word of mouth has always been good for Stellar Blade, but I think the game's financial success might wake up the bean counters, which apparently is the only faction inside Sony that's mattered lately.

All these good decisions they are taking, definitely going in the right direction, plus the recent price cuts. Respecting this.

Their marketing and back for this particular game has been on point. Gg Sony.

I'm sure sales for AAA PC games will surge now that people in third world countries can purchase them.

I'm pleased because my country is in the fucking EU. Now make a global PSN region and everything will be solved.

They would if they actually fixed their fucking regional pricing. Imagine selling games to economies that are literally in shambles at US prices.

This again? For the last time, those bombs weren't meant for you and we're sorry about that!

The most idiotic decision I have seen by a major gaming company, literally saying no to millions of dollars.
One million could have set me up for life...

They're still going to block in russia though (3rd biggest marketplace of steam)

Feel like this is some mistake by an intern all the while, until Shift Up contacted them and tell them the setting is limiting purchase in some area, which prompt them to take a look at those older games.

Ugh, first I read this as Steam removing regional purchasing restrictions
I thought I was going to finally get the PC version of the DOA Xtreme games

Should we forgive Sony GAF?
What is there to forgive? It is a similar error to when Xbox used to paywall Fortnite and other free to play titles. Basically a self-own that harms themselves. They were already punished for their stupid decision, so the fact that they stopped hitting themselves in the face is basically a neutral action. About time, but nothing to get mad about.

I personally suspect that some dumb Sony executive linked his bonuses to some quota of people signing up to PSN, so he had the "clever" idea of forcing it on everyone. The result is people couldn't give Sony money. This mistake was always going to be fixed, the question is how fast they managed to realize the error.

I'm still sour over the idea that just when they started feeling like black people needed to be represented in games they also thought ugly as bitches was maintaining women decency. I'm heated. Once all this ugly bitch stuff is over they need to spin back on my black women for real or it's on site for these niggas.
