Sony : Paris Games Week press conference dated

I'm at GCAP (Game Connect Asia Pacific) game dev conference here in Melbourne, Australia where a Senior Managing Producer from Santa Monica Studio just gave a talk. He said quite subtly that he's not able to talk about their new game yet 'currently' because 'The timing is not great'.

I'm definitely reading into it more than I should but judging from his word choice I am 99% sure that Santa Monica's new game will be announced at the Sony conference which is happening about 14 hours after he gave the talk - which means he IS able to talk about it tomorrow (The conference is for 2 days). His word choice strongly suggested this.

That's all I'd like to get out of it, personally. One major announcement that I'd personally be interested in along side the Rime release date. I'd be happy with that.

Well they have Paris Games Week and PSX and a bunch of announcements to make, so they are probably dividing between the two events.

The only sure one at the moment is Quantic Dream but why not Santa Monica too!? They have heaps more unannounced stuff for PSX!

Maybe they will talk about the next Big Update for the PS4 that's probably going to come out in December, Wait just thought about this...

PlayStation is going to announce the "DualShock 4 Elite" a better high qaulity controller for the PS4, kinda would make sense, right ?

Probably should have clarified that I mean regarding games, not in terms of updates. :P
 
I think by tomorrow theirs a big chance that we will know what Quantic Dream has been working on, most likely a new IP with a big film Actor or the more I think of it, maybe just maybe, Heavy Rain 2, 2016

Just because there aren't any leaks doesn't mean there isn't anything to announce. I mean I wouldn't expect E3 level megatons. But how many of those were leaked really beforehand?

Honestly it's best to have your hype in check because then hopefully when you see the whole show you can be pleasantly surprised. I doubt Sony does a rehash of E3. Sure we'll get some updates on games already announced but they definitely have some new announcements.
 
I'm not even hyped.

I want to see Gran Turismo 7 but that won't be there, and Sony Bend highly likely won't be there either, while I'm not excited about Dreams at all, I do hope Media Molecule can convince me.

I will be happy if we see more of Wild and get an announcement of Quantic Dreams project which we probably will but it won't be enough to satisfy me.

I just don't know what else I expect. I'm not interested in third party, as I'll get those on PC.

are there any decent rumored titles?
maybe new gameplay for biggies like horizon or tlg?
any info at all besides the indies?
 
I won't have a chance to see this till a couple hours after it's over.

Is there a known 'archive' link I can go to - I don't want to come here first asking because it'll be impossible to miss spoilers

Confirmed:
- Dreams blowout reveal

Announcements rumoured, VERY likely:
- Driveclub Season 2
- Quantic Dream game

New updates rumoured:
- Gravity Rush 2
- Wild
- Uncharted 4
- Alienation

Actually, we've gotten a gameplay trailer and it's been playable at previous events. It was supposed to come out this year but was delayed to 2016. Moreover, its developer Yager was dropped in July. So a different studio (not sure if in-house or not) is working on it now, and I guess we're not sure how much of what we've already seen of Dead Island 2 will be retained.

Nordic owns Darksiders.
 
Dreams is confirmed to have a large showing at PGW as well.

Going more in depth with the creation tools and likely showing off other aspects of the tools. I wouldnt be shocked if they created a Dream on stage in front of everyone. Ala Modnation Racers debut.
 
Atleast Destiny, Batman, and Asscreed are released so they don't have to focus on them. Hopefully Battlefront and COD don't take up too much time that I rather be given to indies.
