I don't understand. Is Horizon really such a massive IP that it can get a Lego crossover game?

Why would you hope for Ghost of Tsushima 2 when it's been clear as hell it's nothing more than LEGO Horizon and Gravity Rush 2?

I really like the main Lego games, and it will be disappointing if TT Games is the dev behind it when they could put their time and resources in a different IP or on something of their own.

If it's a game from them, I will probably enjoy it more than the original Horizon though. But disappointing that they're working with this IP nonetheless.

Hermen Hulst got such a hard on for the Horizon IP and desperatly want to make Alloy (woman) the leading playstation figure, Horizon VR, Horizion Lego etc etc. Its just not working. create another killzone game instead.

There is also that leaked multiplayer Horizon game. They are banking way too hard on this IP

There are too many Lego games and all play the same, but Horizon seems like a good IP to legofy it.
Together with Astrobot those games have hopefully success, so Sony would stop chasing and focusing so much on GaaS and keep more of their tradional diversity alive.
Gravity Rush 2 sucked balls with cringe writing and humor, and a terrible camera, much worse than GR on Vita imho, but also something that was different. Would also be interesting, or terrible for motion sickness, in VR if Sony would care to make an effort.

People still surprised that popular IP is popular.

The lego games do nothing for me thought will keep an open mind about this one. Any crossover toys are going to be fucking rad though.

Why is Sony so hung up on the Horizon IP? It is the most borefest IP they have right now. Idk how they did, but Sony turned the robot dino post-apocalyptic idea into blandest and safeest execution of said idea.

Multiplayer game? Lego collab? BORING.

They already have Horizon Lego sets, so it's not that unsurprising.

They could introduce and entire Horizon Lego series. (Actual Lego sets I mean).
The dinosaurs alone will sell.

Astro bot is way more Lego oriented than fucking Horizon lmao.

Just imagine all those accessories from the game being sold as Lego sets.

If the game uses similar tech it could be a really good looking game. Hopefully the game has a different feel to the usually Lego franchise games.

Nothing stopping an Astro Bot Lego set this holiday, but to say its more Lego orientated than Horizon is just incorrect. Horizon has dozens of machines of all sizes that could become Lego sets.

I think it just makes the most sense from a gameplay perspective. All the robots are essentially lego dinosaurs. Lego can sell many sets. Kids love dinosaurs.

Geoff really tell the true about showing only trash games.

Hermen Hulst is delusional.
