I don't think that they will talk about any Gran Turismo game until DriveClub comes out. Otherwise, Gran Turismo would just take away sales from DriveClub.

I don't see why not. One is arcade/social and the other a sim. And vision GT PS3 was at E3 2006 when F1 was a launch window game.

I'm proved wrong every year and this one is likely no different. Here's a semi serious effort to at least attempt to get it right.

Games
-The Order stage demo
-Driveclub stage demo
-Uncharted 4 proper trailer. TLOU PS4 short graphics video.
-New IP from Guerrilla Games. Reveal trailer only.
-Syphon Filter reboot from Sony Bend. Intro trailer and short gameplay.
-Indie showcase with one stage demo (probably Soma)
-AC 5 stage demo
-Destiny stage demo
-Batman Arkham Knight gameplay trailer
-Dishonored 2 reveal trailer
-FFXV stage demo
-GTA V PS4 reveal with exclusive DLC, bundle.
-Project Beast reveal trailer including gameplay
-God Of War 4 CG announce trailer to end the show

Other stuff
-10 mins of sales chest thumping disguised as "thanking the fans"
-New PS4 firmware 2.0 with UI overhaul, PS Now Beta for PS4
-Video Unlimited gets free streaming of certain Sony shows (incl Seinfeld) for PS+ subscribers
-PS+ price increase to $7 pm. Killzone SF, Knack, AC4 announced for IGC
-No mention of Vita outside indies also coming to PS4.
-Short mention of Morpheus alongside certain games.

I think games from other studios are more likely at Gamescom or TGC. I certainly don't see any major Japanese games being revealed at e3.

I'll try to keep it realistic...

Drive Club stage demo
New IP announcement
The Order 1886 stage demo
Project Beast announcement with official name
Another new IP
Uncharted 4
GT6 PS4 release
The Last of Us remaster stage demo or trailer (probably trailer)
Lots of indies with a focus on exclusives (timed or otherwise)
Santa Monica IP tease
New Third Party IP reveal (won't be exclusive, but will be co-marketed by Sony)
Minecraft for Vita reveal
New IP for Vita

What I'd like to see (but probably won't)

Colony Wars 2
Wipeout HD + Fury remaster
Crash Bandicoot
G-Police 2
Fear Effect 3
Toshinden resurrection similar to that of Killer Instinct
Primal 2

Gran Turismo 7
Final Fantasy 7 remake
Shenmue
TLG
The Last of Us 2
GTA6
God of War Next gen.

Vita's purpose as a PS2&3 port machine realized.

No CG. All real time.
Let's get this gen started right.

Agent, Crash Bandicoot, Dark Souls 2, GTA5 PS4, Shenmue 3, Syphon Filter PS4, The Last Guardian, Wip3Out PS4, WWE 2K15 possibly next gen exclusive... All rumors I've heard thrown around at least a little for Sony's 2014 E3.
WHAT? Eek, how did I miss this rumour? Where did it come from?

My prediction:

- New FFXV trailer
- Deep Down gameplay
- The Order gameplay
- Project Beast trailer
- Lots and lots of Destiny, including multiplayer and Beta information
- Another "Indie Showcase", with 8+ indie games being played/announced at the same time on stage
- Uncharted 4
- Quick TLoU remastered demonstration
- ACV demo
- Arkham Knight demo

I truly believe The Last Guardian is pretty much dead.

Wishlist:

- Guerrila new IP
- Uncharted 4 playable demo
- New Hot Shots Golf for PS4
- Media Molecule project reveal
- Sony Bend project reveal
- A new platformer (doesn't have to be Crash, just something that's actually a platformer)

Demon's Souls 2/Project Beast
The Last Guardian
Final Fantasy XV trailer + release date
Kingdom Hearts III trailer
The Last of Us remastered
Rime trailer
Destiny trailer
The Order 1886 trailer

Does anyone think they'll throw the smaller 2nd party titles like Shadow of the Beast, Helldivers, Rime, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture into the show, or will those wait until Gamescom like last year?

I think there's a decent chance that Helldivers will be out by then, no?

Too many people are predicting The Last Guardian, I'm worried about the disappointment if it doesn't happen :(

Each his own opinion, of course, but why wouldn't they talk about PS Now? I can understand your reservations about talking about Morpheus, but PS Now? That's basically their 'next big thing'. It's been the thing they've been talking about since February 2013, when they revealed the PS4.
PS Now is also launching this summer, so - to me - it only seems logical that they give it attention at E3.

Additionally, what have 'TV shows' and 'movies' to do with PS+? I don't get it. Never ever has there been a link between PS+ and movies and TV shows.

Thanks for reading. :)

I personally think they'll have a huge blowout before E3 so it isn't "lost in the shuffle" of all things E3 so the correct information gets plastered out maybe the week before.

Well they had the Sony Studios guy last year having detailed plans for unique shows and movies for Playstation users, which I equate to PS+ membership...

i expect more detailed looks on games that were announced in 2013 that have not yet released. a half hour of vr crap, indies until you vomit, and maybe one exclusive announcement.

sony will be relaxed as they are mopping the floor with the competition. microsoft poses no real threat so i expect these console offerings to become closer this fall and sony will be back on the ball next E3. thats how these things work.

Gran Turismo 7
Final Fantasy 7 remake
Shenmue
TLG
The Last of Us 2
GTA6
God of War Next gen.

Oh how I hope all what you written comes true. *fingers crossed*

I think Sony can add a lot of value on their TV stuff, more so than anybody else in the business because of what they own. I'm not sure people realize how many TV properties they own distribution rights for. Breaking Bad and Seinfeld are just two of the bigger examples. Imagine if they made it all available for PS+ members (and extract a price rise on PS+ out of it). I'm fairly certain they spend 5-10 mins talking about things like this.

Thanks.

I captured that scene from my copy of the DVD, plus it's been recompressed into WebM, so colors got a bit washed out.

The movie looks great on Blu-ray, though. Too bad the BR version still has such a high price tag and it never seems to be on sale, anywhere.

It is fantastic on Blu-Ray. Not only does it look good, it sounds even better! Also, I saw they are prepping the movie to be re-released in 3D soon (which makes A Bug's Life the only Pixar movie without a 3D version). They're doing this possibly in anticipation of the announced potential sequel by Disney. I imagine the stock of the current Blu-Rays will dwindle until the re-release shows up.

Rockstar exclusive for PS4.
Project Beast for PS4. (Demons Souls successor)
The Last Guardian re-reveal on PS4.

They will be the big ones.

Sales announcement (9 million)
TLoU: Remastered gameplay
The Order: 1886 on stage demo
Destiny stuff (gameplay demo, beta dated, bundle with special console)
"Don't forget the Vita exists" section, Borderlands 2, Remote play, PSNow
GTA V PS4 teaser trailer
David Cage comes on stage and talks about his new project
Sony Pictures/Video Unlimited presentation
Nice chunk of indies, Nidhogg, Starwhal (Yoshida available as a rider)
Big Japanese title
#Driveclub
Uncharted 4
Assassin's Creed 5
Morpheus demo
More PSNow
1st party game trailers, Media Molecule, Santa Monica, Bend etc
Price drop to $379.99
Hard drive covers (similar to Xbox 360 faceplates) would be cool too.

Perfect.

I predict...

• Victory Lap, 9 Million PS4s sold, Morpheus talk.
• The Order demo
• Driveclub demo
• Uncharted 4 gameplay trailer.
• New Guerrilla Games IP trailer.
• PS+ Talk, new games added.
• TV talk. Maybe Better Call Saul will show on PSN 3 days earlier.
• Indie showcase 2.
• Assassins Creed Unity stage demo
• Far Cry 4 demo.
• Batman Arkham Knight demo.
• Dishonored 2 reveal trailer.
• Project Beast reveal trailer including gameplay.
• NBA 2K15/WWE 2K15.
• Rockstar enters E3 in how long. GTA V PS4 reveal and DLC trailer or Agent reveal or Bully 2.
• New Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer.
• Entwined.
• Bloodborne.
• Gravity Rush 2 for PS4 and Vita.
• God Of War 4 reveal.

Hopefully people realize that of those five new IPs, most are probably smaller titles. Hyping yourself up without knowing that is just going to disappoint.

Then again, they COULD all be big games, but we won't hear about them all this E3.

I know. I only put the exclamation point because it was part of the trademark.

I'm guessing:

-Peggle 2 comes to PS4 and Vita.
-trailer of Last guardian
-Trailer of Uncharted 4, if there's gameplay it's going to be this year. (Which I don't think so)
-Morpheus mention (and also drop in Playstation Move casually in there as well)
-deep down
-assassins creed unity
-indie games galore
-mention watch dogs, how well it's doing and reiterate Playstation exclusive gameplay
-Order 1886 gameplay
-Minecraft Vita and PS4 dated to fall this year
-Last of Us remastered trailer
-Square Enix KH3/FFXV trailers
-Kojima on stage to show off Phantom Pain trailer
-Playstation Now dated, priced and first game streaming is Last of Us (won't show it because Remastered trailer)
-mention new apps (media partners) coming to PS4 and Vita (Hulu/HBO Go)
-2K shows off NBA2K15

Personal hope:
- PS vita 2000 bundled with Minecraft this fall

Wild predictions:
-anything Last of Us 2
-Amy henning on stage debuting Star Wars trailer (maybe move to EA if Last of Us 2 shows up)
-PS3 $199 12GB version now comes with Minecraft packed in
-playstation plus now includes Music Unlimited
-Vita TV announcement for North America
-Grand Theft Auto 5 PS4.
-Gran Turismo 7 Prologue
-Gran Turismo Vita

Will update after I think of more.

I hope the new SCEA president is comparable to Jack Tretton in doing conferences.

Nest gen Rockstar games as an exclusive (AGENT)......if true just damn, thats one hell of a trump card.

I don't see it happening personally.

Me neither.

It'd just cost too much, and Take-Two aren't in the habit of giving up huge chunks of a market for funsies. Especially for $60mil developments.

Honestly Sony is so far in the lead that they don't need to show much. I imagine they'd play it conservative with 1 big unveiling.

Sucker's move. One good E3 will swing the momentum right back in Microsoft's favor. If Sony wastes time not showing anything while MS is all "GAMES GAMES GAMES", it won't look good.

I think we are all forgetting that there will likely be the formal revealing that the Psygnosis name is back and that logo will likely be displayed before a new Shadow of the Beast trailer to cheers and applause

I want Sony to give us an addicting multiplayer game that will blow us away and keep us playing it for years. Feels like it's lacking a bit on the AAA multiplayer front.

It's going to be glorious

- Uncharted 4
- Project Beast
- Quantic new IP
- Driveclub blowout

+ massive VR blowout

+ new God of War teaser?
+ new Guerilla game
+ Siren team new game

Potential to be Sony show of all time

Wow, a lot more people expecting Rockstar (specifically Agent) than usual, I guess a lot of people feel like this is Agent's last chance to show up
until next year

Isn't Project Siren currently working on Gravity Rush 2?

wow.. some of you guys really think to see a release date of FFXV at this E3. A release date at TGS at earliest, I think.

I concur. It hasn't actually even been formally announced for the West yet has it? (Obviously we're going to get it but I mean there's only actually been formal announcements for the game within Asia as far as I know.) I'd be surprised to see anything more than a trailer at a Western event. Mind you I'd be surprised to see anything about a release date any time soon. Winter at best I imagine.
