Drawn Together... funny start!
And somehow that episode turned into a Mad Max parody, which I thought was great.Dan said:I've always enjoyed the episodes that somehow deal with sexuality for the kids, like the Bebe's breasts episode or the sex education one where the guys are rubberbanding condoms on.
I'm thinking one reason is some of the subjects they're choosing - "Wal-Mart taking over small towns" and "news programs as entertainment" could have easily been covered a couple of years ago.Lathentar said:Its still edgy, I'm just not finding it nearly as funny as some of the episodes from earlier in the year.
Did they ever do a followup to the original Lemmiwinks episode? The were supposed to

In comparison, Family Guy has its witty/obscure references to look for, Futurama has its heart, and South Park always has a message at the end of the day. And most of these shows don't ALWAYS rely on offensive humor to get people to laugh. It would seem to me that offensiveness is ALL that Drawn Together has, which just makes it come off as kind of sad, pathetic, and not very funny, IMO.
Yeah, I would definitely agree with this. I saw the first three episodes of Drawn Together, and it just seems so hollow. There's nothing beyond the the offensive and one-note joke characters. It's like South Park, if there was no social commentary and the only jokes made were about Cartman being fat, Kyle being Jewish, etc.Belfast said:I think why I don't like DT is because there's really nothing behind the offensiveness.
