SPC (SNES) music

It's great listening to this stuff at a decent kbps sample rate. I've just been listening to a Super Mario World pack and forgot how fucking awesome that soundtrack was. The castle theme sent a shiver down my spine at about the 50 second mark... big sweeps up and down the scale with an analogue bass and melody over the top. I might need to find some sheet music for that if possible...

I remember Shadow of the Beast having some cool music... anyone got any recommendations?

I really love Super Jukebox, but the damn thing hasn't worked ever since i've had XP...I just downloaded the new version(3.3 from 3.1), and it's the same damn thing...plays for a few seconds, then freezes. Yeah I can use Winamp, but it doesn't have the cool audio select/deselect feature that Jukebox does. I loved being able to change the mix by taking away some of the instruments on the fly and whatnot :(

Get the SNES amp plug in from winamp and install it..

goto Options > Preferences > Plugings > Input > Alpha II SPC Player > Configure > Other > check "Display the Control Dialog"

You can do the same thing then. The far left column of tick boxes turn on/off banks 1-8.

Thanks :D

By using Super Jukebox I made my own Star Fox soundtrack years ago. I love the music from that game.

I started on a FF3 and Chrono Trigger soundtrack but I got lazy and ended up buying them.

:lol

The SNES sure had some good music.

I wanted to make a topic asking how come Midi's will not play on my computer since I got XP. Some of my favorite tunes ever are midi's and it sucks not being able to hear them anymore. I have tried countless programs and nothing.

I use the KBMedia Player for playing .rsn files (wich contains the full OST) you can get the .rsn from snesmusic.org
