I'm not gonna be able to resist. What's an MGS game without reading and posting in an epic MGS OT? Even the MGS4 trophy patch thread was awesome. I'll just have to risk the spoilers :P It probably will be mostly fine.

I agree with the last part. Rising totally screwed his character and undid all the character development and him getting over his Jack the Ripper persona of 2 & 4.

TeamC is crazy for not even thinking kid Solid Snake will be in the game. I mean kid Liquid is in so why the fuck would Solid not be? makes no sense. Also Kojima kind of teased him in an interview last year.

So, I'm working on the Bluray release of Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro, and I got to interview David for the release (he played Lupin in that movie.) You know how they say don't meet your heroes? If David Hayter is your hero, and you have a chance to meet him, do so. So genuine, and just a super super nice and giving guy in general.

Anyway, one of the questions we asked was something silly like 'If you were able to pull off a Lupin-like caper, what would you steal?' I expected a funny answer, but he thought about it for a while, and his answer was a very genuine... and very sad: 'How about... I'd steal back my voice in Metal Gear?'

Maybe he's just a good actor, but I felt so bad when he said that! Anyway, more fuel to the fire I guess.

I think I'm on the fence between B and C. I'm on B because I do think kid Solid Snake will appear, but nowhere near Liquid (perhaps some voyer they're watching him from afar type shit). And just because Liquid is in it doesn't mean Solid must be. Remember, they didn't meet until MGS1.

Maybe we won't even notice. It would not make sense to see him in any context with Liquid or Grey Fox. But i guess we'll see.

Not a big deal, Solid Snake and Gray Fox are the only other figures in the line so they are probably just showing them off.
