Good to know Big Boss enjoys spliffs as much as I do.
I saw the stream through my mobile... And thought that the pop in was reduced... I guess its just the small screen...
Is it really as bad as it was in E3?
It's the only technical thing i want them to fix... I hope they address it in the final build but i am not optimistic...

It's funny that was actually in the previews but in-game if I recall they actually changed it so that the other player has an MSF soldier skin on your screen.

Please no. Boring as fuck and ruined the whole flow of the game.
Fuck this, I'm just going to go replay MGS1 and 2 to death. Things were original, simple, linear and fucking tappy.

1080p/60fps open world gameplay doesn't come cheap, son!
But I agree with you, it detracts a bit from the experience, especially when there's guards popping from behind objects that "weren't" there. Happened to me a few good times on GZ. When on alert you can see enemies in the distance, but if you zoom in on them with a scope sometimes you see that they are taking cover behind containers that weren't rendered at those distances. It's like magic
But I still prefer to suffer these minor annoyances if it means rock solid 60fps. Game looks beautiful in motion (except when on horse or jeep, then it's pop-in central).
Concessions have to be made, it's either pop in at 60fps or another 30fps game. I prefer the 60fps option, but I totally understand those who loathe pop in and would prefer to have more options to deal with it.

Only watched the demo. Glad they used the same area rather than spoiling more of the game. Love all the new features and how they showed the way they can be mixed up. Love the adaptive enemies. Love the wildlife. Love the variety of approaches and randomization of missions. Love the Motherbase infiltration. All in all, a hugely successful showing for me.
I'd like to make a few educated guesses about a couple of the major concerns:
You won't see two Snakes/Boss' during infiltration. You'll be Boss and the enemy will be someone else. Think Peace Walker's CO-OP missions.
Kojima is no idiot. You won't have access to all that sweet equipment from the get go. This is a demo showing stuff off. You'll need to research, produce and then upgrade to get the kind of OP boxes shown in the demo. Think Peace Walker's R&D tech trees.

Is there a link to the walkthrough seen in the stream? I wanted to watch it again.
It kinda reminds me of old spy vs spy at it's core. Curious if you can get away with phantom cigar if the other player is at his motherbase and if you can fulton another player/snake because that would be pretty amazing if you could, even if it only puts them out of action for a period of time while you raid the rest of their base.
Totally worth it.

If it's supposed to be another players motherbase, how would he speed up time with the phantom cigar and change the day/weather, the patrol routes and whatnot like he does in the video? Wouldn't that be weird on the person defending motherbase's end?
