There's always Metal Gear Solid VI. Although, by then, we'll probably be complaining about it being cross gen again when it comes out at the start of next gen.

Well, there won't be a Peace Walker game taking up his time now (I really don't see him making a Vita exclusive title). That said, he's got Silent Hills once MGS V is done.
If Silent Hills is 2016 though, I 'expect' at least one other MGS game from him on PS4/XO/PC before the next consoles hit.
Honestly, I'd be content with a MGS1 remake on current gen.

As someone who actually likes Twin Snakes, I still wouldn't say no to another MGS1 remake.

I could see him being just a supervisor to the MGS1 remake. Remember when he said MGS1 was his top choice for a remake on the stream? IIRC, he also said he would like to hand that project over to someone else and that it shouldn't be exactly the same as the original game.

conceivably, given the promised size and scope of MGSV. you could remake MG1/MG2/MGS all in one game
This is really what I would hope for. Show the rise of Snake, if he doesn't already do it in TPP.

I remember that you can change your outfits but I don't know if it has any actual effect.
There won't be a camo system like in MGS3, but there is a camo system. It's internal and not visible to the player. It's common sense. It takes into account whether you're standing (on the edge), crouching, or prone. Whether you're moving or still. If you're in light or dark areas. Covered by bushes or other flora/objects. There won't be any visible percentage.
At around 10:00 in the gamescom demo, the guard that is distracted by the cardboard box model is, what looks like, a black soldier. Were there even any black Russian's during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan? Usually Kojima is accurate with stuff like this, or are they pulling a Resident Evil 5?

i assume different camos will affect visibility much like MGS3 or PW. but as IP said, it's a hidden index like in GZ

That gamescom gameplay looked so silly. I wonder if Kojima intended for the cutscenes to be so cheesy as well. It's weird cus I thought he was trying to explore heavy themes and then Big Boss distracts a soldier with a sexy print on a cardboard box and fultons soldiers who no one can hear despite them screaming their heads off.

Basically, I want you guys to listen to my plan and tell me if it's all right or if I'm going too far.
I'm thinking of making a seperate GAF thread for the ultimate mosaic. I basically want as much people participating as possible. More avatars = better mosaic. Also, not everyone reads this thread and I've already had plenty of people tell me they wish they were included.
So I'm going to make a new google doc and use it for the new thread. Give it a few days so most people will have seen the thread and have registered their profile link. I don't want to take too much time though because it can still take up to 2 weeks to send this poster from Belgium to Torashiro's location. Unless a fellow GAFfer wants to take over my task as the printer. I don't know, someone living in the US (Tora is located in CA.)
Once we have the avatars, we can give the photoshop dude (immortal-joe, I presume) a little more time than last time. More time to search for the best piece of art that will be used for the mosaic and more time for some extra polish... I think
I PMd Torashiro and asked him what the deadline should be. Probably a few days before TGS. I'm going to be a lot more busy around september so I kinda want to do this before TGS.
Thing is, you guys like this idea? I know it all started as a simple MGS-GAF thingy and then we couldn't even get it signed by Kojima because the stream took too long... but I still think this is a great opportunity for our community. It's somewhat similar to the Wii U card stuff and I'm sure Kojima will appreciate it.
But yeah, the reason I want to make the seperate thread is so more GAFfers get to see it and so it will become more open and not just restricted to people who just happen to view this thread.

I do like getting more of MGS-GAF involved but the David Hayter thread being locked makes me pessimistic of that thread being allowed. I'd say ask a mod but that didn't even work for that thread.
I think the big problem with that thread was the poll and (despite the poll not being there in the end) people were just using it as a vote thread.
I'd be surprised if mods wouldn't allow this one as it's more of a community project.
But yeah, I could check with a mod.

Okay, never mind. Seems you were right, mods would rather we keep the discussion in this topic. Can't really blame them with the amount of new MGS threads on GAF every week. I did try and request a small edit to this thread's title (it's outdated anyway, imo) but I'm not sure if that will be allowed.

No doubt. He was a special recruit in Peace Walker as well.
Kojima as a recruit is probably the Phantom Pain bonus they talked about for people who completed Ground Zeroes.
