I think Nintendo is going to do the old "Bait and Switch" on us. They say things that could be taken to mean the Revolution won't be there, but they leave themselves open to do the opposite. Saying E3 isn't Revolution's coming out party doesn't mean it won't be there. It just won't be there in full force as it will be at E3 2006.
Like Johnny's been hinting at, I think Nintendo is going to have a very similar Revolution showing to what they did last year with the DS. They'll show off the console, they'll go into the philosophy behind it, and they'll have a video reel showing tech demos and interviews with developers. Reggie or Miyamoto will come out and show it off to the public and talk about it. Johnny also hinted that like the DS, there will be a small room for those who wait in line to test out the Revolution for themselves, ala the DS room last year.
Maybe behind closed doors they'll show off fuller demos of actual games, but I think the public will just get a look at the system and a few demos.
Other then that, there'll be a shitload of DS news, tonnes of games announced for it, info on the Rev and DS' online aspect, a bit more on Zelda, and then video of "Mario 128." That it's only on video after like four fucking years of being yanked at the last minute from the show makes me think it'll be a Revolution title - perhaps this is what Miyamoto will use to demonstrait the Rev's features to the public.
I wish I could be there again this year - if I'm lucky I might get to go for a day, but I dunno. I personally wasn't that thrilled with it, and prefer the easy to find info that the internet provides.
