OMFG HOLY MOTHER OF MARY IN HEAVEN I CANT BELIEVE IT WTF WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES AAAAHHH
I just got through watching the entire Spiderman cartoon series from 1967. What a trip down nostalgia lane. I can tell you uncategorecally that the 1967 cartoon is much MUCH better than the modern live action Sam Ramen movies

Sam Ramen

That crazy Japanese Spider-Man/Power Ranger show >>> Spider-Man movies

Your forced typos of celebrity names was only amusing the first time. Creating threads just to tell the same joke will not suffice. Enjoy your ban. You just got sonned.

Campy and more appealing to pop-culture nerds, basically, but let's face it: Spiderman 67 had no such thing as character development. It's not better, it's just funnier.

I never did see the 67 version of Spider man, but I fondly remember the 90s version that used to air on Fox. That show was good and same with Xmen. :)

I thought that Spiderman 90s was a well-crafted show with decent plot arcs, and X-men was kind of a mess only a fan could love, but I know from previous history that everyone will disagree with me.

I loved the Ralph Bakshi episodes(last season episodes). They had no budget and they reused scenes to the point that even He-Man scoffed. More than once they even reused entire episodes and just had new dialogue and maybe 2 mintues worth of new footage.

None of that really matters as I enjoyed seeing Spider-man battle green men and swing though beautifully painted purple cities to snazzy jazz music. I always looked foward to seeing how they'd work in the same ending where the enemy of the day fires his gun and accidentally shoots the super computer or whathaveyou that causes everything to explode.

I wouldn't recommend these particular episodes to your average viewer though. :D

You hit the nail on the head! :lol :lol :lol

I couldn't believe how they just blatently re-used the footage and expected us to not take notice(Aqua-creature/Scientist anyone?).

nope. the spider-man 90's cartoon kicked the ass of the x-men one. after sesaon 1, each season of the show was just a continuous plot. it rocked.

though i dont agree with x-men being a "mess"

you want depressing? how about when gwen stacey dies in the comic books?

Electric Company's Spider-Man segments > the 1967 cartoons. Hell, the 80's Spider-Man/Spider-Friends cartoon > the '67 shit. I'm even thinking that the old 70's TV movies and show were better, too. The only thing cool about that old cartoon show was the theme song.

You're wrong, and I'm right.

Nothing like watching Spidey swing around the exact same buildings the exact same way 5 times per episode!!

At least the one I saw with the Kingpin was funny. When he slammed his fists on his desk it made his henchmen hop. lol
