Even FF7rebirth, another ps5 exclusive with late pc port, got better ccu, even tho it obviously has its own problems(mostly bugs and UE4 shortcomings) still managed 40564, for the simple reason that game is better, and isnt woke

I hope this is a sign of things to come, wherein Sony just says fuck it and stops porting their single-player games to PC altogether. It was definitely strange how there were zero ads on Steam and no option to pre-order the game until it released. Really half-assed.

That's pretty bad. 20K is fine for a niche game or an AA or indie release but for a AAA, it's shit.
I mean in general terms. By this point everybody knows that Spider-man 2 is woke shit so I'm even surprised that it hit 18k.

Anyone trying to tell you this game doing 18k is good being based on an IP that has done roughly $1B at the box office for 5 films and scored a 90 metacritic, is huffing some nuclear grade copium. This is terrible. Not even half of GoW Ragnarok.

I think the word of mouth for this game has been a serious hindrance. Sony's sequels are really struggling to grow the fan base. This game isn't bad, but its not as exciting as the first. Crazy to think it got the reviews it got.

Pc players had plenty time to educate themselfs on that particular game, sony marketing cant deceive them like they did with ps5 launch when everything woke was hidden(with an exception of mj looking like peter's 50yo mother).
Now woke cat is out of the bag and customers dont like it, hence terrible ccu on steam
Naughty Dog's new game starring blasian stud will share same terrible fate and we will all be there to witness it

Regardless of the port, i said it once and i'll say it again. There isn't that much of an audience for action adventure type of games on PC. Hardly anyone can break the 100k barrier regardless of how big the game is on console.
All those sony games that are praised mentioned here as the greatest games of the generation couldn't do it. And 100k isn't even that high, for games that sell tens of millions on console. Not saying it's bad, but compared to other genres it's really not that much. They dont need their biggest games to break the 100k barrier.

I always see people post about Mary Jane's face change but it all started when they changed Peter's damn face. I never forgave IInsomniac for that and it's a big reason I don't really have interest in playing. I never even played Miles yet because it's already changed in that game too. I know he's not even the central character but damn. What a downgrade from the original face.

Like others have said on here, I think it is more that PC gamers arent going to pick up a game like this. That has been exposed for what it is. A sequel that is more of the same and full of Woke DEI crap. Similar to Horizon forbidden west.
Either Sony need day one PC games or change the games they make, or give up on PC.

Didn't play the game, but from what I heard all the "inclusive" stuff was optional and not forced like in Mass Effect games for example. These games with optional "inclusivity" don't get judged harshly by gamers as long as it's not core part of the writing or the experience.

I am under the impression that every new Sony port on PC is flopping harder than the last one.
Sony sequels are just not very good, and PC gamers have stronger taste than base PS fanboys who are hyping up really mid games this gen

The character creator has body 1, 2, 3, and 4, not male/female. You got a pair of lesbians all up in your face. I found more same-sex couples than straight ones. There's a trans character albeit, it's not obvious. Karlach and Shadowheart are at least canonically into women. Dame Aylin goes girlboss all up in your face. The game is just so good that none really cares. It's as progressive as progressive gets though.
