My highest yet!!
#TeamSplattershot

I get the feeling some players are already mastering the maps.
Just lost because enemy team was controling the main corridor, orz.

I'm just rushing forward wrecking the other team near their spawn with the normal gun while my guys fill the map with paint, won two games with over 65%.

Splatoon is more fun than I thought it'd be from just watching others play, now I'm really looking forawrd to the launch.

Finally got a chance to try it. It's tons of fun!

And I'll tell you... the roller may not be OP, but if you don't have any rollers on your team you're going to lose.

You just cannot cover the ground you need to cover if you don't have at least one roller.

But yeah, it was great. Tried with and without gyro. I might prefer without, but I'll have to wait for the full game. Didn't have time to experiment.

If I switch my wii u language to english, can I play it in english? hard to talk with you guys if I only now the german words -_-

Huh, had my first communications error. I was laying down my paint roller but no paint was appearing on the ground, then came the error

Edit: just had another!

Seems like two rollers and two gunners is the best balance.

Don't think its that clear cut since my last round had no rollers going against a team with an abundance of them. You're not guaranteed to lose.

Was on a team with 3 snipers and a splattershot again 2 rollers and 2 splattershots.

yeahhh, we got totally owned.

I really can't get used to the sniper so far. The game is too quick to have a quient moment to aim and in close encounters every other weapon seems to be more effective. :S Will be interesting how my opinion changes once I can get more time with the game.

I hope the final game will have some decent matchmaking. If your team doesnt have a roller but the enemy does, then you are as good as fucked, lol.

Came out on top again with the Jr. It's nice, that shield is unfair when I can recharge it so fast heh.

In Walleye warehouse a couple rounds ago a sniper was camping right on the center boxes then one of our rollers climbed it and splatted his ass.

He promptly went back to it because he's a one trick pony.

Yooooo this is fun! Not been following the coverage at all, but I really like how after playing for five minutes it feels like there's lots of scope for tactical play and teamwork.

I assume there has been lots of discussion about changing classes during a match?

Not a fan of the motion controls, but I'll give it some time.

I'm having a ton of fun with this demo. Really digging the ink roller and also having a simple mini game during loading/match making is a pretty nice touch.

I dont have a WiiU, but this game looks really fun. But is the point just to color the floor and try to shoot other people or is it more to it? it just looks like it could be boring pretty quick.

Essentially. Without being able to fully customize, the roller really does dominate. That might change in the full game though. With other maps, gear, and perks.

Obviously there's no guarantees, but unless you're able to really shut them down with kills (which isn't that easy), those rollers are just going to cover more ground than you and there's no way around that.

Matchmaking times and quality have been great for me so far.

The game is fun but extremely repetitive. Also roller is absolutely OP.

Regardless, it's a nice distraction/change of pace type game. Can see myself picking it up once they add in more content and/or the price comes down a little bit.

Well that was... Disappointing

If there isnt a big campaign mode (which does seem to be the case) i will definately skip this

Polished but not just not fun imo

First big Nintendo release i will skip in ages

There is a campaign mode. This is a demo, why would they give you the campaign in the demo?

The roller is goddamn OP.

If the opposing team has more rollers than your team, you know you're going to lose lol

Anyway, the game is really fun!
