Holy crap, the sniper rifle is awful. Is there no way to zoom?

No with this one, but there are others in the final game that can. I'm not a fan of the sniper, but hopefully it'll start showing some use as we learn the game more.

I just think it's because I can cover so much more ground using a roller that I feel like I can help my team far better.

Rollers are stupid easy to kill. Just back up and shoot. You move at the same speed so they'll never catch you.

They can still hit you from range.

You can see by the ink pack on your characters back, but a consistent meter would be nice option.

Yeah, I gave it another change but it's so fucking slow you feel defenseless. And the non-charged shots are pretty bad.

There's an ink pack on your back that shows your level. It's not super obvious, but the feedback is there.

I enjoyed the game when I got a chance to get in, but I get dropped from matches constantly, so I'm done. A lot of the issue is with my router, which is already pretty flaky. Still, I've got a replacement in mind, and this is definitely a game I want to play more.

A good chunk of the mechanics are built around the GamePad.

I rather have Pro Controller as an option as well. Maybe they will patch it. Can map jump to ally to a button.

That's what happened to me too just now. I wonder if the final game will allow people to join mid game. Otherwise there's almost no way to win if people decide to leave or have connection problems.

Has any other console's primary controller gotten this much bitching? Like even the original Xbox's giant piece of shit, I don't remember people downright refusing to play games because of it. But I see it all the time on GAF: "Ugh, you have to use the Gamepad? Pass."

The Gamepad is a perfectly fine fucking controller.
