Splinter Cell movie teaser

You have visited his world
You have played the games
But you won't know the full story until you've seen the movie
Paramount Pictures presents Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell the movie, soon on your screens.

So... Where is it said that George Clooney is Sam Fisher? I also hope that it isn't someone like Harrison Ford or Sean Connery.

In fact I'm not really sure if there are any big name Hollywood actors that come to mind for the part of Sam Fisher. Oh well, the important thing to remember is that they'll butcher it anyways like they do any video game movie.

And before you remind me that it's a book as well I'd offer the fact that it doesn't count because nobody reads in America anymore. :)

Plus it looks mega crap, since the whole three eyed headgear thing only works in the game I'm sure. :)

Well, Cloony is pretty much the only name actor that comes to mind to play Sam Fisher. He has the right age and the right body for the role.

Just checked on IMDB, it says that Peter Berg (The Rundown, Friday Night Lights) is going to direct, nothing on cast yet.

Well, Sam Fisher is a middle aged man with graying hairs (I think), and a strange sense of humor. Clooney would be great IMHO.

Apparently the Splinter Cell book wasn't even written by Tom Clancy. It was written by David Michaels.. yet it clearly states on the cover of the paper back that it's "by the #1 selling author Tom Clancy"

Just an odd observation.

Yeah, and although it sold like crazy, it's apperantly not even good...
