Splinter Cell on ICONS right now...

You are a good man but *cries* G4 is at the girlfriend's place not mine. :(

Tell me how it is lads, I love the series.

I was thinking that too, but who cares, its a good game and I also love the insight and behind-the-scenes stuff ICONs shows anyway...

Isn't it a bit soon for Splinter Cell to be called an ICON?

You know it's just a hype machine for Chaos Theory

As you see from the post below, just a way to show Chaos Theory footage :P

Oh crap...they are showning SC3 now (first time I have seen it moving)

Is that the XBOX or PC version??

Looks nice!!!

Icons is not the best show ever, pretty far from it in fact, but I really like the "lightweight" tone it has, perfect for a "I don't have anything to watch" kind of moment. The sad thing is that I am Spanish, I live in Spain and I don't seem to be smart enough to find the right places to get these. I only managed to get trough BT a couple of them.

Anybody there with the juicy info?

Thanks/gracias¡¡¡

Why shouldn't is be called an ICON? It's the third game in a wonderful series.

I don't think anyone is arguing against it's success. But it's only existed this gen. Kinda premature, IMO. *shrug*

Well considering the number of Splinter Cell games being worked on or in planning stage at Ubi right now. "Splinter Cell" will become more and more a franchise...
Sam Fisher is snaping necks
Sam Fisher is driving karts
Sam Fisher is playing golf
Sam Fisher plays DDR
Just kidding, but still...

I just finished the solo campaign, and I'll just go out and say it:

For me personally it's the best game this generation by far. Not to mention the prettiest. I am going to play it again, for sure (I only had an end score of 94% out of all ten missions total, grr) and there was basically only one part in the entire game that annoyed me, and that was when you basically HAD to kill people to get past, and the lord knows I have patience enough to sneak past anything. :)

Anyone who enjoyed the first and second Splinter Cell. Your gonna be in for a treat! It's much more movie-like and damn, those gorgeous graphics and sounds with that silky smooth animation...hawt!

Better than RE4 or MGS3?!?!

I don't know, didn't play those. Horror and Japanese games aren't really my thing. Though those Metal Gear Solid cutscenes look cool.

While I enjoy the gameplay a bit more than MGS3 for the simple fact that I feel more like a spy in SC and the camera isnt as restrictive.

Overall I believe MGS3 is the better game. Although I've played the SC games repeatedly, MGS3 left an impression far deeper than any other game this gen.
