seriously, what happened to Spoon? granted, diversity and evolution is great in music, but i'm having a hard time digesting this. needless to say that fans of Kill the Moonlight will eat this album up, but that's my problem with it. to state the obvious, i'm not a huge fan of Kill the Moonlight.

EDIT: I LIE! THIS ALBUM IS GREAT! I REPENT!

"I Turn My Camera On" is a pretty cool song, but I haven't had any desire to listen since the first week it leaked.

Turn my Camera on is pretty groovy indeed, but I am also unsure of the album. I have been playing it in my car lately trying to get a feel for it.

Oh well, so far, I think the record rocks. The Beast and Dragon, Adored is one of their best songs, and I really like The Two Sides of Monsieur Valentine, I Turn My Camera On, The Mathematical Mind, Sister Jack and I Summon You. If it's like Kill the Moonlight, I'll be just raving over the entire thing for a year in about ten-fifteen listens. Spoon records just age very well.

Typical Spoon-induced reaction, I think. It took me some time to really like Kill the Moonlight, but man I'm glad I discovered this band. I still don't own their other albums though. Maybe I should buy Girls can tell, and their first one...
