I'd expect them to show trailers for several of their games at the conference while live streaming gameplay on their own channel as well as Sony's.

Small update, actually. I assumed they were playable, too, but apparently it's only SO5 that is. DQ Builders only has a special program listed and FF14 has a battle challenge thing going on: http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201508270033/

I hope the new Star Ocean doesn't have a garbage story. The Last Hope was pretty awful in that regard. It's been too long for me to remember if Til the End of Time was crap too. I certainly don't remember any story aspects 10 years later. The gameplay is always good, I'll give the franchise that.

Good story is the last thing you should expect from Star Ocean games...

Only SO2 had somewhat good story.

It's not the entire list as of yet. But I don't think it's supposed to be a 2016 title. They said that the game was very early when they announced it at E3. We're supposed to get more info this fall.
