Squareenix's "Fantasy Earth" PC MMORPG

Not much. Fantasy Earth's soundtrack is being composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto (FFXII). The game looks VERY similar to the cancelled MS-published title True Fantasy Live Online, which was being developed by Level 5. Since Level 5 has good ties with Square Enix through Dragon Quest VIII, many are drawing the conclusion that FE:RoD is TFLO with a new skin.

Ambrosia Odyssey has slipped out of the spotlight to my knowledge; not sure what's up with that. I hadn't seen enough to make any assumptions about its quality other than that it looks like another classic fantasy MMORPG. But most MMORPGs look like that, right?

Action RPG Ambrosia Odyssey features a multiple branching storyline where you construct entire towns and foster their development - and histories. Go online and share these minature worlds with others, while experiencing those of their crafting. The game is being developed by Rocket Studio, KAI Graphics and Supersweep while being published by Square Enix.

Lotsa new Fantasy Earth screens today:

And some info about two of the jobs, Sorceror and Shadow Walker. There's also a bit of info on the 50 vs 50 battles you can wage between countries. The opposing force has to set up a fort in enemy territory, then declare war. A countdown happens before the fight starts.

I wonder what's happened to Ambrosia Odyssey though.
