I don't remember Xenogears being that popular. Releasing the same day as Metal Gear Solid didn't help it any. I picked both up at the same time and had a hell of a time choosing which one to play first.

Some people liked Xenogears. I'll admit I bought the game -- I was still high on how good FFVII was -- but I put it down after about 10 hours of play. It just didn't suck me in and keep me interested for very long. I got very bored, very fast.

New online RPG for next-generation platforms, produced under Hiromichi Tanaka of Div. 3. Also, Code Age Archives is a manga series.

I think they may have changed their division structure, though.

I got burned by the Xenogears hype. The game just wasn't interesting from the beginning. Truth is, I thought Xenosaga Episode 1 was a better game...but that wasn't saying much anyway.

Square's future is dead to me until they announce at least one of the following:

-A new Chrono game for PS2 or PS3/360
-A Chrono remake for PS2 or PS3/360
-A new Final Fantasy Tactics game for PS2 or PS3/360
-A Final Fantasy 7 remake, sequel or prequel for PS3/360
