i smoke myself into a temporary coma on st. patricks day. i listen to ambient music like stars of the lid. i eat the most disgusting things, like fast food. it's also the one day i take off from school and work and friends, family, and well, life. still, i usually end the day with a glass of glenlivet, a book, and some light jazz. it's my favorite holiday.

Pittsburgh's St. Patty's Day parade was this past weekend and I got so drunk before 12 AM, along with the rest of the city, that I'm okay if I don't make it out tomorrow.

About 6 of us will have our first Guinness over breakfast at 9am when the Dubh Linn Gate pub opens in Whistler.

A couple of pints later, we'll be riding and skiing for a couple of hours and visit several pubs on the mountains.

We'll then do apres ski and enjoy until we pass out.

We've actually got 2 Irish people in our group for once so it'll be an authentic day...we even have leprechaun hats for us all to wear while we ski.

My St. Patrick's Day is starting off amazing. Already drunk, gotta get to sleep as I have a test in my Biology class, but other than that, I plan on getting shit-faced later on tonight at this local club(to the point of calling a cab more than likely to avoid getting pulled over by the cops)..luckily I have Friday off.
