I think the fact that they showed footage of StarFix Adventures in the Direct is a great sign of the GameCube game coming to NSO. And maybe even a sequel, depending on this remakes sales.

I dont think it looks bad for Switch 2 assuming its 60fps.
There is something off with the way it looks though, it kind of looks like an asset flip on Steam but one of those where the 'dev' has used higher quality more expensive assets.

It kind of doesnt gel right, and doeesnt really look like a Nintendo game.

I watched the trailer on my LG OLED today and I was like "god damn!"

It makes me wish the Switch 2 had an OLED screen. Dammit, Nintendo…

Hopefully the game will have proper HDR implementation though, cause it looks gorgeous on a nice screen.

Maybe I don't have the nostalgia for this (Star Fox in general was never a big thing in Europe), but looks just ok (it's hard to impress considering how mobile games are capable right now) if totally uninspired in its core idea. How many SF64 reruns do we need at this point exactly?

Less than the game needs by, literally, the looks of things. The difference in blurriness between the HUD and the rest is huge.

So, the game is a remake, I played both SF64 and the original, but didn't know it was a remake of the SNES game. I thought it looked a lot like SF 64. That explains a lot.
