It is impossible to get a game of Fighter Squadron going in the Scarif DLC. There just aren't enough players available to even start the match... and this is on PS4. That is the first time I've ever personally been unable to play a particular mode on PS4.
I also am currently missing the trophy for playing on all of the Scarif maps, and I've no idea which one I could possibly have skipped.

Haven't played in a couple of weeks, oh my god why are people so fucking bad. First game of Infiltration as the Imperials and we just got completely fucking demolished. When I haven't played in weeks and I'm first place on the leaderboard and it's not even close you know it's bad ._.
I'm at 95, just want to hit 100 and I'm probably done outside of hopping on here and there to play WA. Infiltration kinda sucks, and I've given up on completing the diorama because of the stupid fucking Hero Hunt wins which I can't believe they've still never adjusted.
Edit: Yeah I'm 100% done with Scarif. These maps are shit and clearly made by 5 people, the first phase of Infiltration is fucked for the Imperials and no fun to play, and this mode is too objective based for what appears to be the lobbies completely full of 5 year-olds I'm getting teamed up with. WA is also a complete joke on Scarif. I just had two games back to back where I had more kills AND score (aka actually playing the objective) than 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place combined on my team, and it doesn't seem to want to rebalance this lobby in the slightest. Not worth grinding out the U-Wing kill diorama pieces if I'm not completing the diorama anyway.

Unfortunately, the only thing the DLC adds to the offline modes are the extra hero and villain characters.

Only thing from the main game playable offline are two modes (Walker Assault, Fighter Squadron) using only the maps from the base game.

At least they patched in Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron modes for offline play, for both single player and splitscreen, so that's something. They're under Skirmish in the menu.

Hey all, I got Battlefront Ultimate Edition for PS4. Redeemed the season pass, but does this not come with the deluxe edition content - DL44 and all that? Do I really have to buy that upgrade separately? I checked on the origin (PC) edition description and it says it comes with that content...
You're gonna get the DL44 eventually either way and tbh, you can do wonders with the starter weapons anyway

Base game. Offline content doesn't include the DLC and you can't play online splitscreen.
Then again, the ultimate edition has been dirt cheep the last few weeks, so you might as well get that in case you want to play online by yourself.

I'd definitely both go for the ultimate edition then. There's a lot fun to be had in the DLC maps and modes and you can get great deals nowadays.
Sounds like bad luck. Battlefront has no team balancing mechanics or anything, so you are at the mercy of the random way players are organized in a server.

The Shoretrooper Captain is fantastic on Tatooine and Jakku.
When it's all said and done this will be 2015-16 Battlefront's biggest flaw. Helmetless storm troopers... but in all fairness...

Just got back from rogue one and played a bit of scarif
I disagree that there were plenty of other places to have maps in. Jedha was pretty but wouldn't have differentiated itself enough from Tattoine, Eadu was barren outside of the imperial base and there weren't any battles on Mustafar. That being said not being able to control Tie Strikers at all is a shame and I wish x-wings etc. were pilot-able on the ground maps, could have increased the player count to 40

Yes, helmetless storm troopers were a bad move; not only was it straight-up incorrect with the universe (it's like having official Star Wars content with R2-D2 talking English played straight), but it harmed gameplay by making it harder to tell teams apart.

If one has EA Access they can purchase the Season Pass and it will work fine correct?
I am thinking of getting it. Got a new mouse for X-Mas, have owned the game on PS4, but just had some good fun on PC and damn it looks and plays good.
EDIT - I am torn do I just pick up the Ultimate Edition and own it outright with the Season Pass, or do I keep the Access version, get the Season Pass and also pick up the Ultimate Unlocks pack for $13 so I at least have a little bit of a competitive advantage.
One option means I own it in case I ever do drop Access (not super likely in the near future), the other option means I get to spend the same money but I do not own it outright but I get the Unlocks to help a brother out.

I actually really enjoy Scarif. I like the layout of the jungle-feel with the metal walkways, and the bodies of water dividing parts of the map.
Bespin on the other hand, ouch. I hate that map. There are too many spots out in the open, and there's just very little color to the map besides shades of brown.

Vehicles as pickups better be the first thing cut.
I think it's too late on that. They will probably double down on the new type of gameplay they made for this game instead of going back to the original gameplay. Especially now that to the mass majority of people, Battlefront is now EA's Battlefront.
