I won't stop honestly...heh
How do you adjust the rate of fire? I been trying the speed but nothing changes....
As soon as you posted some of your work on here Lissar, I knew they would msg you about adding them. Extremely happy to see that turned out being true. Amazing work. Super impressed.
I have a new Starbound update downloading now. I'm surprised it's not being talked about in here (unless I just missed it from earlier today or something).
Same. I think it's the latest update being pushed through.
Here's my Terraria city (yes, city) screenshot.
How big was the patch? I dont know if it downloaded for me, the launcher still says its 10/12 version.
I'm secretly hoping for an ore re-balance even if it means another wipe.
Did you use some 3rd party building tool to make all this? Or did you do this all ingame with just a mental image or reference paper?
Thanks. The big draw for me in Terraria wasn't the combat or exploration (though I certainly enjoyed those immensely) but the building. That's why the last Terraria patch actually ended up being a disappointment; he added a bunch of new stuff, but a lot of it was broken or half assed. Even with that, I still made some pretty cool stuff. HaRyu will have to post screencaps of it since they were on the GAF server.

Bonus: Here's the world; a lot of the stuff out there was just stuff I saw other people had done and wanted a copy in my world, but most of it is mine.
- Fixed fall damages
535.7 MB
All brick by brick with the exception of the large bridge (pasted in from a previous world). The Library was also built on GAF server (by hand) but pasted into my SP world.
Did sketches of stuff while waiting for the update and kind of built using it as a rough guide. It came out pretty close, honestly.
The charcoal thing is huge
SO far for random number inputing in firetime
0.15 = rate of fire of 5.55
0.1 = 10.00
0.05 = 20.00
0.08 = 12.50
Played with the chomper mod that I made, and it sort of is OP. It's a definite replacement for a pickaxe, and I can really only recommend it if you want a really easy way to make tunnels that are 4 'pixels' high. Not sure of a way I could balance it other than making it really weak and therefore slower.
If you can make it destroy the stuff it tunnels through, and increase the cost of building it.
I like that idea of destroying the tunneling items. Any idea on how to do that?

Nah, no one would use it if it made coal disappear.
Nerf its damage to half the same tier of pick. It'll still be superior for horizontal tunnel digging and the pick or drill would be better for general use.
Well right now it's the equivalent of a gold pick. Should I just nerf it down to copper level or maybe make it upgradeable through all the same tiers of the pickaxes but with half the damage at each tier?
Make it upgradeable at each tier.
I think I can do this. There are 4 tiers, right?
You can basically copy the pick progression from stone through copper to diamond and have the same material requirements for upgrades, just at 4x4 and half damage at each step. Maybe leave out stone and have copper for the first one since it's more advanced than a pick.
Dumb question but what is the name of the art/pixel style? Like for example 16 bit.
I know it is not that lol![]()
