Found a bunch of chests on the GAF planet with odd contents, at first I thought they were probably someone else's stash but they've got pixels in, does anyone know what's happening there?

I dumped them there! I thought that whoever was going to explore that planet later would probably want some additional stuff. The orig. chests were seriously barebones, like maybe 3 items. I didn't finish stuffing the rest though, ran out of seeds in bag.

Quick question; Is the Rainbow mushroom tree the Great Gaf Tree or something? I have some Mushroom saplings I can plant to help us finish up the different levels.
Also, I am going to set up a farm. Feel free to harvest the food and store the excess in the vending machine, but please replant whatever you pick.

Next Ill post screenies of my fully customizable spaceship. Honestly I think they should go this route instead of expansion. It is much more involved and entertaining, but keep the option of ready made expansions for those who dont like building.

So the farm has been completed, with plenty of room for me to expand it. I even put a sign near spawn pointing to it.

Are you putting in anything for the server name field? I found that this was my problem when getting 'wrong password'. That field should be kept empty

Scoped out a desert planet for a bit, lots of cool caves and stuff, decided to make it my home planet. Go explore Beta sector for a bit, decided to start working towards boss 2, go back to my home planet, and suddenly it starts raining acid.

In other news, I got an accordion and immediately downloaded some .abc files of the Captain Pugwash theme tune. Unfortunately, it sounds rubbish in-game.

Oh gosh, how do I keep finding uber weapons.
Found probably the best weapon as of yet. A starsword that is capable of hitting 6k if landed right. The shockwave with crazy knockback hitting 3k doesn't hurt either. And the attack speed is solid.

I never realised performance issues were this bad. I thought I had it bad earlier when it refused to run at a solid 60.
Jumped on the GAF server and spruced up the landing site a little. Moved some of the chests that were sitting there to the right, will probably have to create a warehouse for them in the near future. I also moved the anvil that was there, added a furnace and created a little crafting building to the left of spawn, across the bridge.
Just wish there was a way to add water, then that bridge would look *perfect*.
Next project... maybe building something big. A skyrail network was discussed, but people have already built some really huge things already that it would either have to cut through or go over, so maybe not.

I say do it. You can make stations in the spots where you cut through, as it would help add to it being the Gaf-Rail Network.
I was thinking that, but I was thinking that I personally tend to get grouchy when people build right on top of my stuff, so I have no right to start dropping these giant towers and such all over the map for a skyrail system. The alternative is, folks who are building large projects incorporate a way for the skyrail to 'land' at their building site and then we just connect all of the stations together.
Anyways, I did make a little skyrail / cable car on GAFWorld, just to test the idea out and see if it looked decent. It crosses a pretty large canyon so it expedites travel, and it builds off of two of the library towers (we have a TON of them). Lots of access, but it looks neat.
Also, we need water placement. STAT:

I'll make sure to gather any concrete I find.
I put a stairway going up to the edge of orbit just to the right of the food building. The top of the building up there marks the border of where people start to freeze to death. (Building the stairway diagonally turned out to be a lot more convenient to climb than having to jump for 5 minutes)

Thought I'd come check the GAF server out, but 'wrong password' bars my way (I am entering the correct one from the quoted first post). Weird.
make sure nothing is in the server name field, and you dont have any extra spaces. and that the ip is right.

Man the game really opens up when you get to the various planets: in my system I found a penal colony, a desert planet with acid rain and a pirate ship anchored to it, and an icy planet where I freeze in seconds. Also I dug till I found lava in the first planet, and had to go through a strata with bone blocks and blood dirt...weird.

Once you put them all together it becomes the method for summoning the 2nd boss.
Final character wipe; ship and universe wipes might still happen.
Weird, I though ships were stored with player data. Ah well I can store the best stuff on my char.
