It's amazing how many players you can run across who aren't familiar with esports. I don't think an embedded stream would magically make everyone a fan, but it would increase stream numbers significantly, thus help tournaments impress sponsors. And there are tons of people who would tune in just to see how pros play, maybe stumble across more info, find Day9 and teamliquid.net, etc.
On Tasteless/Artosis: I think Artosis is very smart, and while he often seems quite behind on zerg related strategies/meta game, there's no question he knows his shit. This is a guy who literally watches hours of VODs every day, plays a lot, and constantly talks SC2 with pros. On the other hand it's quite obvious Tasteless doesn't know much about the game and doesn't care. If he doesn't have a Day9 or Artosis type analyzing the game, he gets exposed quickly. We saw this during his casts with the Asian girl last year, can't remember her name; the one with the tough accent. And yes, he also bashes players a lot because he doesn't understand the game. I don't think he's a BW elitist but clearly he was far more into that game (which is fine). The problem is that he has apparently put no effort into improving.
I just watched Artosis cast with Wolf (while Tasteless was sick) and it was SIGNIFICANTLY better. Both casters knew what they were talking about and you could just tell Artosis was having a blast casting with someone who knew what he was talking about and could challenge him. They were geeking out - not over Pokemon, but over SC2.

They really need to do what Destiny himself said any other team would do. Put some PR speak out to say they're greatly sorry people were offended and that they'll deal with it. Tell Destiny to tone it down for a month so people can forget and then do whatever he wants.

I like Cloud's point on Day9. He spends a lot of time over-analyzing games. Whenever I watch his daily he obsesses over the slightest of decisions or placements. SC2 builds can be pretty complex, but often he focuses on random stuff that isn't worth focus.

Apollo is the best caster in the business currently, dude has the knowledge, is not awkward when talking about something else other than the game, can sup as a host/caster roll on stream and gills with everyone you put alongside him, aside from that I agree with everything else (still watching the video)

Idra agreeing with cloud about day9 was quite funny, plus calling him out for lying about his earnings. Heavily hinting at tasteless not liking sc2 too, as well as outright saying it about himself.

A lot less than what he used to get I think. His constant LoL playing and shitting on SC2 for a while really turned people off.
Also I was kinda ok with Destiny saying the N-word constantly because I actually thought he wasn't really intending it to be racially offensive and that he just uses that to insult everyone. This time he used "gook" when he knew he was playing against an Asian person, so he meant it I think. Fuck him.
