I ran msconfig after reading th' other thread and noticed a blank space in the startup menu. Nothing noted until the Location tab where it lists it as in HLKM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

What the hell?

Yea, I get oddities like this as well. No idea what they are.

The HLKM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run is the location in memory where programs that boot on startup go, to the best of my knowledge.

i have two blank ones as well. i just unchecked them.

That's just the registry location all startups go to. Did you look in the registry to see if their was a value for them in it? Maybe they were from apps. that uninstalled, but didn't pull everything... dunno.

Hrm, once I took that out, it stopped hanging on startup. Awesome.
